Dear Birthmother,

Hi. We are Adam and Micheline. Our lives have blossomed through adoption and we are eagerly looking forward to adopting again.

We enjoy simple pleasures like quiet runs at dawn, children splashing in the pool, stories before bed, baking cookies, laughing, movies, a BBQ or just being together.

We love fun, laughter, silliness and hugs. We know it will be a blessing to adopt again and cannot wait!  

About Us
We have been married for nine years and always planned on adopting. After having miscarriages, we knew God wanted all our children, not just some, to be adopted. Both of us have graduate degrees. Micheline’s is in education and Adam’s in business.

We love to do just about anything together. We like hiking, swimming, riding bikes, camping, children’s museums, cultural arts and sports. We enjoy singing, reading, baking, going for walks and runs in sunshine and rain, going to the beach and zoo, playing in the park, and, of course, grilling in our backyard.

We own a running, walking and triathlon shop. Owning a family business allows Micheline more flexibility and she spends most days at home. The support we get from our community and church is amazing.

About Micheline
Micheline is warm and kind. She is strong willed, independent, patient and passionate.

Micheline has an unending amount of energy. She easily handles a room full of three year olds and doesn’t have to take a nap later! She loves playing with children. She has been known to play restaurant or doctor for hours, be the mom who goes on the slide, stomp in puddles and dress up as Cinderella.

She loves to run, ride, read, cook with our daughter, Hannah, snow board, go the beach, go to movies with Adam and laugh.

About Adam
Adam is kind, compassionate and calm. He listens well. He finds the bright side of situations. He is funny and brings out the best in others. People are easily comfortable with him.  

Children seek Adam’s attention. When he is with a group of children, each one feels special. When we go to friend or family gatherings, the first question from children is always, “Where’s Adam?”

Adam and ice cream…that is a match! Just talking about ice cream is fun for him.

Adam is the dad who loves going to the zoo, beach, park or wherever the days may lead. All our friends are jealous that Adam knows the routine as well as Micheline and never has to ask what to feed the kids.

Adam loves to run, ride, hike, read, ski, watch movies and be with his kids. He is an incredible dad and husband.

About Hannah and Dana
Hannah is our 3 year old fun loving, social butterfly. Dana is our 17 month old mellow, funny and gentle boy who has to hug all the stuffed animals.

They both enjoy books so we spend a lot of time reading. They enjoy being outdoors. They love swinging in the yard, going to the beach, riding bikes, meeting friends at the park and going for ice cream. Hannah and Daddy go to Home Depot together. Both she and Dana love to help out with their tools once the project is started. Hannah spends time in the backyard playing princess with Mommy while Dana naps.

Our Home
We live in Northern California in a small neighborhood with a big backyard. The weather is perfect. We live close to the ocean and mountains and have a little bit of all four seasons, which makes it so much fun.

Our Values
Family and friends are essential. For us, life is a village of family and friends. We go to church every week. We want to raise children with values so they know right from wrong. We want them to have every opportunity to reach their highest potential of goodness, honesty and compassion.

Our children will have help with homework and school will be a respected place. We will make sure that social awareness as well as good study habits is taught in our household so school will be a better and easier place for our children.

Our children and their birthparents are evidence of God’s goodness. We promise to take the time and energy necessary to make our home the best for your child. 

We can share your child’s experiences with you if you’d like. We have an open relationship with Hannah’s birth parents and are establishing one with Dana’s.
