Hello! We are Blake and Christy, and we are so excited that you are considering us to become parents for your child. We truly enjoy spending time with each other and with our families. We are thrilled to be building our family through adoption!

About Us
We met in college after being introduced by Blake's mom. We were married after two years of dating and soon began planning a family. We struggled with infertility for several years, but feel so at peace knowing that God is leading us down the path of adoption.

We have been a couple for over seven years now and truly enjoy each other's company! We love sitting down for dinner together and sharing the events of the day. On the weekends we enjoy going to the movies, walking, and eating out. We both love reading and spending time with our extended families! Every month we travel within the state to spend time with family, and during the summer the beach is a favorite destination for both of us!

Meet my husband, Blake
Blake is going to be an excellent father. He loves spending time with our nieces and nephew, whether it is snuggling up with a good book, twirling them in the air, or running around the yard.

Blake loves sports. He played baseball and soccer in high school, and played intramural softball while he was in college. These days he is content to watch a game or two on television. I am so lucky that I can share my life with Blake. He is kind-hearted, considerate, loving, and smart. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and is currently working on his doctor of pharmacy degree.

He is strong in his faith and is always supportive of me. I love knowing that he will be supportive of our children and their needs.

Meet my wife, Christy
Christy is an exceedingly patient and caring person, and she is going to be a great mom. She enjoys reading, taking walks, and shopping.

Christy has a master's degree in elementary education. She teaches fourth grade and her students absolutely love her. Every afternoon her students give her a hug as they leave for the day. Being a teacher has many benefits including being off for all major holidays, Spring Break, two weeks at Christmas, and the entire summer.

Christy will be a wonderful mom and will always put her child's needs first.

Our Home
We live in a two-story home in a large subdivision. It has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a large family room, and a playroom downstairs. We are very excited at the prospect of turning one of the guest rooms into a nursery.

We are located very close to a children's park, libraries, and a state park. Our city also has many museums, theaters, and a great zoo! Every holiday our community holds children's parades and fireworks displays.

Christy teaches in one of the top public school districts in Alabama , so our child will attend school in that district. Our child will have the opportunity to play on local sports teams or take dance lessons with other neighborhood children. We are very close to Blake's sister and her children, and our kids will enjoy many fun play dates together.

Our Faith and Family
Our faith is very important to us, and we believe it is important to raise our child in church. We regularly attend services at a local church where our child will attend Sunday School and Vacation Bible School .

Family is very important to both of us, and all of our immediate family lives within the state so we are able to spend periodic weekends and holidays surrounded by those we love. It is important to each of us to communicate daily with our families whether it is through email or personal phone calls. It is thrilling to know that our families are so excited to welcome a new member!
