Hi, we are Boo and Melisa, and our son's name is Aidan. He became part of our family through adoption in 2004. We are eager to expand our family through adoption again, and we are very excited that you are considering us to be the parents of your child.

Our Promise...
We promise that your child will be welcomed into a home full of love and laughter, hugs and kisses, and lots of family and friends. We love being parents and will give your child every opportunity to have the wonderful and fulfilling life that he or she deserves.

Education is very important to us both and we, therefore, promise that we will offer your child the best opportunities available throughout his or her life.

About Us...
After our first date, we fell in love and were married one year later. Soon after we married, we wanted to start our family. After several months of trying to get pregnant, we found out we had unexplained infertility. Adoption was an easy choice for us.

Our Home...
Our home is just outside a small university town in Mississippi. We live on a four-acre lot with many large trees and lots of room to run and play. Our house has three bedrooms, two baths, great room/family room, large kitchen, utility room, and two-car garage. Our backyard has a great patio, nice lawn and a huge sand box complete with swing set, fort, slide, and lots of toys. Although we live out of town, our house is less than a 10 minute drive from several parks and playgrounds, both our jobs, and Aidan's preschool.

Our Hobbies...
Boo enjoys refereeing soccer in our local league as well as at the high school and college level. Boo also likes jogging, fishing, golf, softball and gardening.

Melisa plays tennis in local USTA leagues and with a weekly group that plays more for fun and laughs than for wins. Melisa also spends time gardening, exercising and creating fun lessons for our church's youth Sunday school program.

We have a travel trailer and enjoy packing up the whole family, including our dog "Lucy," lots of toys, and taking off. We also enjoy attending sporting events and spend lots of time in the pool and backyard.

Our Family...
We adopted our son Aidan as an infant in 2004. He will be turning four this November and has brought immeasurable amounts of happiness to our lives. Aidan is a very happy child with a great imagination. He has a sweet, loving nature and always wants to share.

We both are blessed to come from very close, loving families that are always there at any time we need them. Both of our families are very excited at the possibility of a new baby in the family. We see both of our families on a regular basis and make new memories every time we are together, whether it be for a birthday, anniversary, our weekly Sunday lunch dates, football games or just a cookout. Your child will be welcomed, loved and adored not only by everyone in our family, but by all of our friends as well.

Education and Work...
Boo has a bachelor's degree in marketing and works with the Department of Agriculture as a biological science technician breeding corn for resistance to several pests. Melisa has a cosmetology degree and owns and operates two businesses; a baby store and a tanning salon. Both businesses are well established and allow Melisa to take all the time she wants to spend time with the family.

Our Christian Life...
We were both raised in the church and have a very strong faith in the Lord. We attend church on a regular basis and are involved in many activities and committees. Melisa teaches children's Sunday school and serves on the children's ministry committee. Boo serves on the administrative board, stewardship committee and missions committee. We have both participated in mission trips and fund raising events to support missions. Aidan attends day school at our church five days a week, and he loves his class and all the teachers and staff at the school.
