Dear Birthmother,

Hello, we are Bryan and Shara. We are a young, energetic, Christian couple who is so excited to be adopting our first child. We have been married for over seven years, and our home is filled with love and laughter, family and friends, but, most importantly with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We own a restaurant where we are both chefs and after we adopt, Shara will be a stay-at-home mom. We are looking forward to parenthood and we thank you so much for considering us!
 
Our Life: 
Our relationship began on the very first day of culinary school, where we both attended to become chefs. We were engaged and married within a year and a half. We began seeking extensive fertility treatments five years ago, after we learned we could not get pregnant. We have gone through numerous treatments, and all have been unsuccessful. Through this, we have learned real patience and a strengthening of our relationship with each other and with the Lord.

We know that adoption is the clear path God has for us to start our family.

Shara from Bryan: 
I love Shara so much. She is gentle hearted, affectionate, and loving. Her favorite things to do are hike, bake, and garden. She loves to create wedding cakes and grow roses!
 
Shara loves her friends and family. She loves to sing and is also very athletic and loves soccer! She is an active member of our church and weekly Bible study. Shara is nurturing and loves her nieces and nephews, and they love her. It is her life long dream to be a stay-at-home mom, and she will apply all of these virtues, and her love for God, as a mother.
 
Bryan from Shara: 
Bryan is loving and loved by everyone he meets. He has a sweet and gentle spirit. Bryan loves to golf, ski, take walks with our hound dog, but most importantly, he loves to cook! He has been a chef for over 20 years, and besides our family, it is his passion!
 
Bryan loves his friends and family and getting together weekly to grill out or go to the movies. Bryan is an active member of our church and attends weekly Bible study with a group of couples our age. He has a great support group, and he will be a great dad!
 
Our Home:
We live on an acre of land in a beautiful community. Our home is very spacious. We have three bedrooms and one is ready for nursery! We have a beautiful, big deck at the back of our home where we grill and entertain friends and family.
 
The surrounding area has beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls to enjoy and we take advantage of that as much as we can. Our best friends live right behind us, and we love having dinner and movie nights with them every week. We love our neighborhood because it is close to town, but it still feels like we are out in the country! It is quiet and relaxing.
 
Our Faith: 
Our lives are centered in the Lord. He is our foundation and as Christians, we will raise your child with the same morals and values we were raised with. We both grew up in Christian homes and appreciated the solid upbringing Christian values gave to us. We are involved with our church regularly and look forward to continuing this tradition with your child.
 
We love children! We have several nieces and nephews and have enjoyed watching them grow. Family is at the heart of our lives. Thankfully both of our families live very close and are excited and so supportive of our plans to adopt. Our deepest desire is to raise our child in a loving, Christ-filled home, filled with lots of hugs and kisses and tons of laughter!

We promise to you that we will love your baby unconditionally and give them a home where they feel secure. Even though we have not met or spoken, we are praying for you and your baby. We look forward to sharing your child's adoption story with him or her from the beginning and we would like to share letters and photos with you along the way, if you are open.
