Welcome to our lives! We are Chad and Erin, and we are so thankful that you are taking this time to learn about us. We have been looking forward to growing our family since we got married, and feel that adoption will be the answer to our prayers. We are a fun, active and well educated couple who enjoy each other, our families and all time spent outdoors. Our lives have been blessed with those who want the best for us, and we're excited to extend this to our children.

About Us
Our marriage is based on friendship, respect and a strong sense of family. We were both raised in loving Christian homes, and have established our life together with the same values and beliefs. We couldn't be any happier that God has now led us to adoption, after several years of infertility. We are very excited to experience the joys of parenthood, and look forward to raising a child with unconditional love and strong family values.

We love spending time together, and with family and friends. We both enjoy skiing and wakeboarding, and hanging out with our neighbors on the lake. Our trips usually include hiking, biking, or enjoying the local sights and shopping in new vacation spots.

Both of our families are supportive and excited about our adoption plans, and are wonderfully preparing us and themselves for an addition to our family. All of the grandparents are looking forward to spoiling a new grandbaby, and so are the aunts and uncles!

About Erin
Erin is my best friend, my soul mate - my wife. It was her beautiful smile that sealed her claim to my heart. She has many strengths that give her confidence in all that she does. She is a big hit with children, including our niece and nephews. She has a passion for reading and learning, and has already started collecting Dr. Seuss and other favorite books to share with our children.

She loves helping others and volunteers in our community by co-teaching math at a local elementary school and working with children involved in the county courts because of family situations. No matter what we do, I love spending time with her waterskiing, playing volleyball, or working on projects around our home. She always brings out the best in me and everyone else around her. I know Erin will be a great mother and I look forward to the blessing of parenting with her.

About Chad
My husband is an incredible person. His devotion to his family and friends is what first drew me to him, and his fun-loving personality and respect is what cemented our relationship. Knowing how much my family approves of Chad makes me all the more sure that he is my match, and that we're destined to be a family.

Chad loves working with his hands, and can fix anything. He even built our entertainment center and pieces of furniture! Our home has always turned out beautiful and just the way I pictured, because of his skills and willingness to take on anything we dream up together.

He loves being around kids, partly because he's a big kid himself! His niece and nephews are absolutely in love with uncle Chad, and he can never think of enough fun things to do with them.

Chad will make a wonderful father, and I can't wait to see that happiness in his eyes.

Our Home
We live in a small community in northern Indiana. Our neighborhood is an active lake community that is known for its neighborly attitude. When we moved in we received muffins, cookies and lots of warm welcomes, including invitations for boat rides and cook-outs. Everyone is excited to welcome our newest family member . We're also within an hour of most of our family, so we often join them for holidays, Sunday dinners and any celebration.
