Hi, we are Chris and Darla and we appreciate you considering us as possible parents for your baby. We have looked forward to becoming parents for several years and are excited to adopt our first child. About Us
We met through mutual friends eight years ago and have been together ever since. Our relationship grows stronger each day, and we feel truly blessed to have such an awesome marriage and friendship. After struggling with infertility for several years, we believe God is leading us down the path of adoption and we cannot wait to become parents!

We like spending time outdoors and biking, hiking, and camping are some of our favorite activities. We also enjoy traveling and can hardly wait to visit new destinations with our child. Our greatest wish is to provide a stable home for your child, one filled with happiness, security and unconditional love.

About Chris
He is truly a gift from God! Chris brings so much love and laughter to my life, and will do the same as a dad. He is caring, supportive, and loyal, and was raised with solid family values. I know that he will pass these on and will be a wonderful role-model and father.

Chris' hobbies include riding his four-wheeler, building model trains, working in our yard, and barbequing for family and friends. Chris holds a bachelors' degree in Environmental Science and has a strong work ethic. He is dedicated to providing a secure financial future for our family, and is someone I can always trust and depend on.

About Darla
Darla is the love of my life and my best friend! She is also the most caring and generous person I have ever met. She loves to help others and spends time doing volunteer work at our church and Hospice House. She shares my love of the outdoors and is excited about having a child to take on our mountain adventures! Her other hobbies include reading, baking, taking long walks, and spending time with family and friends.

Darla holds a master's degree in social services and has spent many years working with children and families. Although dedicated in her career, she is looking forward to taking time off and being a stay-at-home mom.

Our Home and Community
We live in Washington State and love the Pacific Northwest! Close to home, there are numerous parks, playgrounds, and activity centers where children can go for fun. Our neighborhood is also friendly and safe, and it is not uncommon to see families outside spending time with one another. Many have young children that will make great playmates for our child.

We live in a comfortable and spacious four bedroom home, and have a nursery already furnished and decorated. We have a large fenced backyard that looks like a small park thanks to Chris' hard work. We are already making plans to put up a swing set and sandbox. We also own a five-acre lot that on which to build a new house, once we outgrow our current home.

Our Faith
Our faith is very important to us and we will share this with our child. We will raise a child to have Christian morals and beliefs, and will provide them with a strong spiritual foundation. We want to lead by example and will show them the importance of treating others with dignity and respect. We attend church regularly and are grateful for the blessings God has given us!

Our Family
We have been blessed with a wonderful family! Everyone is excited and supportive of our desire to adopt, and are eager to welcome a new baby! For both of us, family is our number one priority. We have great relationships with our parents and our siblings.
