Dear Birthmother,

Hi there! We are a fun, down to earth, active couple who have been married for seven years. We can't wait to share our loving, safe and fun world with the first child in our families! Iliana will be a stay-at-home mom.

About Us
We feel blessed to have found each other and be each other's best friend. We have known each other for nine years and have been married for seven years. We were each raised with similar values, respect for family, and morals, which we feel will help us as we raise children together. We love to discuss what happened in our day, about events in the news and about our dreams for our future as a family. We are both good listeners and we love to make each other laugh (and be silly sometimes!). We both enjoy traveling together or with our extended families. We also like boating, camping, going out to dinner, watching movies, keeping track of our favorite sports teams or going to games, and entertaining family and friends at home.

A good education is very important to us, and would like our child to attend a private or Catholic school. We look forward to Iliana becoming a full-time mom, to reading bedtime stories, and to filling our home with new sounds of laughter.

About Damian by Iliana
Damian is the most easygoing, humble, hard-working, loyal and fun person you will ever meet. I admire his love and respect of family. Being a boat captain allows him to work on the things he knows (mechanics, generators) and to do the things he loves...fishing and boating. He also loves to play sports, especially basketball. Damian enjoys doing repairs and building things around the house. He is always happy to lend a helping hand and he is extremely giving, forgiving, and caring. He is always thankful for the little things.

To see Damian play with and listen to our Godchildren, cousins and friends' children melts my heart. The kids love and respect him back, which reminds me often that he will make a great dad.

Yep, he is a keeper...

About Iliana by Damian
When I first met Iliana, I remember how she brought me out of my shell; she was very comfortable to be around. The words to describe her are intelligent, genuine, caring, super funny, romantic, intuitive and understanding. I think that is why she is such an amazing occupational therapist, friend and wife.

Iliana loves to travel and plan weekend getaways and vacations for us or with our extended families. She enjoys hosting gatherings (her favorite is planning for Christmas) at our home. She enjoys reading and listening to many types of music. She loves to cook and try new things in the kitchen that she saw on Food TV. Iliana loves to babysit and be surrounded by children and loves to plan crafts, games or treats with kids that visit. To see her interact with kids is priceless; she has such tenderness whether dealing with pets or children. She has an endless supply of love and patience.

Our Home and Neighborhood
We live in a one story home in the suburbs of a city in Florida. Our house has four bedrooms, and two of them are joined, which will become our child's nursery and playroom. We have a very large kitchen and cozy family room that we love to share with friends and family. We have a fenced backyard with a patio, a garden, and an outdoor kitchen. We live on a quiet road with young families with children of different ages. Our house is at walking distance from Iliana's parents, our church, parks, schools and a University, and a short drive to libraries, shopping centers, and Damian's parents. Our area has lots of great restaurants, museums, beaches, aquarium, zoo and access to many sports and outdoor activities. We also like to visit the nearby theme parks often.

Our Promise
We promise to raise your child with a strong faith, values and moral character so that your child can benefit from the blessings of having God in his or her life. The spiritual, emotional and physical growth of your child is our priority and we plan to give your child every opportunity to explore and learn about the world and be a caring and compassionate human being.

We will help your child to grow confident, loved and comfortable asking questions, and grow up understanding what a blessing adoption has been to our family.
