First meeting is heard by thousands...
We met on the radio. Anne was a co-host on a morning show and the host wanted to do an on-air dating game with her. She reluctantly agreed to do it.

Danny was the cutest one and since she could only initially judge on looks…she chose him. Not only was he cute, he also turned out to have a hilarious sense of humor, a down-to-earth personality, and was very kind and caring. From there, it was history. We have now been married for over 6 years.

Our life together...
We enjoy camping, canoeing, fixing-up houses, going out to dinner with friends, being with family and traveling together. We live in a three bedroom house on two acres of woods within a very good school district. Our woods are great for exploring and our neighbor gives riding lessons on her horses right next door. There are lots of kids close-by, and wonderful parks only blocks from us.

We have a gentle, chocolate lab dog named Dierker, and a tiger cat named Porter. They are wonderful to have around and are very entertaining.

Having our family and close friends around us is a very important part of our life. We get together for meals, game nights, bible studies and outings. Aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents will always be a big part of our child's life.

Before we knew each other, we had both considered adoption. Because that desire was still there and because of risks to Anne's health if she were to carry a child, we decided we would add to our family by opening our hearts to a child through adoption.

About Anne, by Danny
Anne is awesome! She is not someone that will take you weeks or months to get to know; within minutes you will know she is a blast to be around. Whether it's her silly impression of the Cowardly Lion or her contagious laugh, people are always drawn to Anne just like I am. Anne is extremely excited about becoming a mom. Anne has a great eye for making things look good and has already begun preparing the baby's room with a crib, toys, and little outfits (she would try them on herself, if she could!)

Anne is going to be a great mom. Anne is very encouraging, caring, and fun. She is a servant and does it with a great attitude. She can't wait to spend time doing "life" and activities with our child.

About Danny, by Anne
Danny so wonderful and fun to be with. There is never a dull moment when Danny is around. He makes me laugh with his funny faces, Kermit the Frog singing, and outlandish dance moves. One of the things I most admire about him is that he often thinks about others before himself. He loves me genuinely and that shows in all the thought-filled things he does and says in regards to “us” and our future. Danny will be a great dad and will give lots of time to our kids. I can see this just in the way he enjoys children. When we go to visit our friends who have kids, he always ends up playing with them, making them laugh and helping them feel special.

Danny is the co-owner of a mowing and landscape company and also works part-time at our church with young adults. He's a hard worker and devoted provider. Everyday, I love Danny more!
