We are choosing to adopt a child because:
We are experiencing some difficulties with fertility and would now like to create a family that we have always wanted. We both love children and want to emotionally and spiritually share the love that surrounds our home and family. We want to be the best parents we can be so that we can love, nurture, and help shape a bright and successful future for your child.

The things that make our family special and unique are:
Our families are both very close-knit. We share most, if not all, holidays together. We even celebrate most of our birthdays together too. We openly discuss things together and whether we agree on things or not, we're still family. We are an affectionate and loving family.

The things we look forward to sharing with a child are:
We look forward to sharing our love and our familys' love. We were brought up in loving families that taught us to be affectionate, strong, and independent adults and we want the chance to do the same through a nurturing and loving environment.

Other members of our family eager to welcome a child are:
Gezette's mother Gracie is anxious to share baby clothes and toys that she has preserved with our child. Gezette's sister Gerri is eager to share her experience of parenting and the developing of young minds to be successful adults. Grandmother is anxious to share life lessons from family history that has produced a caring and loving family. Gezette's best friend has been waiting for us to have a child so she can give us our godson's baby crib. Darrell's family, as large as it is, is still anxious to welcome the new addition.
