We have always imagined that we would have a family. We would love for a child to share in the opportunities we had growing up, in a loving and caring environment. We are excited to adopt our first child. We cannot pretend to imagine what emotions you may be going through, but we look forward to talking with you and learning more about your hopes for your child.

About Us
Our relationship began 19 years ago in high school. We were the greatest of friends and quickly fell in love, and have been happily married for seven years. There was no doubt that we wanted to start a family, and after five years of struggling with infertility and losing twins during pregnancy, we knew that adoption was the key to starting our family. Although our journey has had its challenges, it has only strengthened our love for one another and our desire to become parents.

We come from two entirely different backgrounds, yet we are each other’s complement. Our foundation is built on love and compassion and we respect one another completely. We both share a passion for food, cooking, dance and design; but we are both so completely different. I come from a Jewish faith and Daryl is Christian. I am Caucasian and Daryl is African American. I am a vegetarian; Daryl eats just about everything, (as every good chef should)! I am a realist and Daryl is an eternal optimist. As corny as it sounds, we really are soul mates. We do not see past each other’s differences; instead, we respect and admire them.

About Daryl by Sheryl
Daryl is such an amazing husband and friend. I admire his charisma and his sense that everything will always work out fine. He is always laughing and his positively radiates through his smile. I always feel safe in his arms and I know that he will always love me unconditionally. Daryl is an amazing chef. Although I don’t like cleaning up after his creations, I do enjoy eating them! In his free time, he loves to golf and entertain with our friends. His sense of adventure and willingness to try anything once is incredible.

Daryl comes from a rather large family. His father is the first of 12 children, and they are very close to one another. His heart is so full of love and there is so much he wishes to share. I know he will be an incredible father. He was raised by loving parents and knows the blessings of a family.

About Sheryl by Daryl
Sheryl is the love of my life, my best friend always and forever. The one thing I love about her most is that she is so genuine. A compassionate friend to all, who also helps to keep me grounded. Sheryl has always had an eye for the arts whether it’s fashion, home décor, or anything in between she is an uncanny resource for anything that has to do with style. She enjoys antiquing, spending time with the “girls” shopping, and watching movies and entertaining our friends.

One of three sisters, Sheryl comes from a close-knit family and she talks with her sisters almost daily. Sheryl will be a great mother, a very caring person who can see the true beauty in everyone. I look forward to raising a family with her by my side.

Our Home
We live in a beautiful historic neighborhood in Southern California that is diverse in cultures and young families. Our home is close to the beach and we love to go strolling down by the ocean. Our house is a filled with treasures that we found and furniture that we have restored. We share our three bedroom home with our two cats.

Our Family
We were both raised by incredible, loving parents that we respect and cherish. We both have two siblings each and parents who are forever devoted to one another. Although our backgrounds, religions, and ethnicities are so different, our families have always been united.
