More About Our Family
Our Special Interests We love to cook and entertain. You’ll often find us in the kitchen creating masterpieces to share with our family and friends. We absolutely love to dance and we both enjoy shopping and antiquing. Daryl has an interest in golf and often goes hiking with his friends in the Sierras. Sheryl loves sunset strolls on the beach and looking for design inspiration everywhere. We would both love to travel with our children and explore the unique wonders that exist off the beaten path.
Our Faith Sheryl was raised in the Jewish faith, Daryl was raised Baptist. We base our religion on the foundation of love and compassion and do not exclude each other’s traditions. We have incredibly loving parents that we respect and cherish and their unconditional love grounds us and gives us strength. Family is the place where children will confidently flourish and discover the diversity that life has to offer. We hope to raise our children sharing in our family’s traditions and create new ones together.
Our Musical Interest We are so very passionate about the arts. Sheryl grew up playing the violin and piano and Daryl has taken piano lessons as an adult. We always have music playing in the house while we work and while we relax. Sheryl was the director at a performing arts school for seven years teaching art and assisting with the music and drama classes.
About Our Home We live about ten minutes from the ocean in a beautiful historic neighborhood in Southern California. The house was built in 1931 and we have restored it to its glory. There are three bedrooms and one bath inside and an art studio with one bath outside. Our house was even featured on a historic home tour!
