Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for taking the time to read our letter and allowing us to share a little about our lives with you. Almost two years ago we adopted our beautiful son Thomas through Lifetime. Our adoption experience was filled with love, understanding, compassion and many blessings. We are ready to grow our family and look forward to becoming a family of four!

About Us
We have been married for over six years, have a loving relationship, secure future, and an abundance of love to share. We enjoy each other's company and share many of the same interests like spending time with our son Thomas, working together on our house and yard, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. We believe in quality education, music, activities, sports, and family. We look forward to encouraging our child to follow dreams and to take advantage of opportunities life has to offer. We will love, nurture, and guide your child into becoming a fun, loving, caring and sensitive human being!

David
I am very lucky to have David as my husband and best friend; he is sweet and kind always reminding me how much he loves me. He uses his education in agriculture to farm the land around our home and has a talent for picking the best trees and flowers to plant in our huge yard. He has created a fun and safe place for children to play and explore. He loves reading, water skiing, and playing practical jokes on his fellow firefighters. He is an amazing father to our son Thomas. He enjoys every laugh and smile they share. It warms my heart to see David share his love, affection, and guidance as a dad. He is gentle and nurturing, patient and kind, and is very involved in Thomas' life.

Annette
The day Annette walked into my life was the best thing that ever happened to me. She brought warmth and joy to my heart and made our house a home. She is a very intelligent, creative, loving and giving person. Annette loves to cook, travel, shop, and decorate. She also enjoys music, the arts, cultural events, and nurturing her beautiful flower garden. For as long as I have known Annette she has dreamed of becoming a mother. Adopting Thomas made that dream come true. Seeing them together is an amazing gift, with her endless amount of love and affection he is becoming a happy and sweet little boy. I look forward to raising our family with such a loving woman.

Our son Thomas
Thomas fills our home and hearts with love and laughter. He has a bubbly personality, loves tractors and balls, being outdoors and taking a bath. He is adored by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.

From the moment he wakes up to the second he falls asleep he is smiling. He will make a fun big brother!

Our Home
We live in a small town in northern California near the Sacramento River. We enjoy our small-town living and the quiet, safe environment it gives us. We enjoy knowing most of the people in our community and the closeness it provides.

Our Family
We are very family oriented and are blessed to have such a terrific family support system. We are blessed to have so many generations of family and friends in the area, and take advantage of getting together for any reason. Sunday night is family dinner night, we never know how many will show but we always look forward to sharing our weekly stories with each other.
