We are Derrick and Tarsha and we would like to thank you from the bottom of our heart for taking the time to consider us as parents for your child. We pray that you will have a better understanding of our lifestyle and the love we can not wait to share with your child. About Us:
We are a young and energetic couple that enjoys all that life has to offer. We have been married now for nine amazing years. Tarsha is a Neo-natal Intensive Care Nurse and Derrick is a Systems Engineer. We enjoy traveling, movies, sporting events, and attending church as a family. We decided to focus on our career to build financial stability before starting a family. After trying to conceive for several years unsuccessfully, we decided to pursue fertility treatment and they were unsuccessful as well. We realized that Gods plan for us to start a family was through adoption.

Tarsha through Derrick’s Eyes:
I met Tarsha the summer of my senior year of high school. Tarsha has a very loving, caring and thoughtful spirit and has a smile will light up a room. Tarsha is not only my wife but she is also my best friend and the day I married Tarsha I knew I married my soul mate. Tarsha was raised in a home that was filled with love, morals, and Christian values. Tarsha has extended that love to my family.

Tarsha loves and adores my nieces and nephew as if they were here own. Her love for children and people is what drives her and helping people is what she loves. That love helped her easily chose her career as a Neonatal Critical Care Nurse. Tarsha enjoys reading, traveling and cooking. Tarsha also loves the beach and any thing involved with being outdoors.

Derrick Through Tarsha’s Eyes:
Derrick and I met in high school thirteen years ago. When I first met him he seemed a bit shy, but was I wrong. Derrick is a very intelligent man and graduated with honors from high school and college. Derrick in my eyes is a gentle giant and he is the best husband/best friend a wife could ask for.

Derrick has always put God and family first in his life. Derrick is a faithful, loving, and fun person to be around. He is always interactive with other children in the neighborhood due to his love for sports. Derrick also loves to ride motorcycles and likes to participate in outdoor activities.

Our Home:
We live in a very diverse neighborhood with children of all ages. There are several parks and lakes within walking and driving distance of our home. We are within minutes of major universities in North Carolina. We are also surrounded with activities such as college sports, professional sports, and museums.

Our home has four bedrooms, three full baths and a loft that would make a great play area. There is also a game room where we enjoy playing games. We have a fenced-in back yard perfect for a swing set.
