Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for spending some time to learn about us. We are Dustin and Ginger. We have been blessed through adoption with our daughter Joelle. We have an open relationship with her birth mother.

Parenting has added excitement and a new perspective to every aspect of our life and we cannot wait to become parents of two. We are a secure, fun-loving family that enjoys spending time outside and time together.

About Us
We met while we were both in graduate school. Ginger was pursuing her master’s degree in health sociology and Dustin was earning his M.B.A. in finance. We both enjoy our careers greatly and believe that it strengthens us as individuals, parents, and a family. Ginger is a director for a growing pharmaceutical research center and medical practice. Dustin is a CFO and enjoys financial consulting and business development. We greatly value education and will encourage and support our children so that they know that no educational goal is unattainable.

We do many things together as a family. We enjoy sitting down for dinner together at the table each night, with no TV on. We all hold hands and pray, taking turns so that each person has nights that they lead prayer. We also enjoy book time each night and road trips together. We find that some of the best conversations happen during these road trips and we always look forward to the experiences that come from the journey.

About Dustin
Dustin is a man of great integrity as a friend, husband, and father. He values peaceful things in life like working in the yard, mowing the grass, spending time on the boat and playing around the house. Dustin is a wonderful dad. He always takes the time to let Joelle “help” him with the tasks that he is doing, even if it makes it take four times longer.

He is known for never meeting a stranger and always engaging everyone in a conversation. His passions include water skiing, spending time on the lake, playing guitar, and spending time with family.

About Ginger
Ginger is a very intellectual, caring person. Her passion for her work is in treating and helping her patients and employees. She thoroughly enjoys motherhood and is the catalyst for all the creative things we do as a family. Ginger always has a new idea or activity planned so that we can experience something new as a family.

She has amazing control of her emotions and maintains an optimistic outlook on life regardless of the circumstances. She encourages everyone to be open-minded and loving. Ginger’s passions include reading, being a mom, helping others and exercising.

About Joelle
Joelle is a very independent two and a half year old who loves swimming, Dora, bugs, trains, and her four favorite stuffed animals. She cannot wait to have a brother or sister.

Joelle attends a private faith-based school and loves her teachers and her friends. She wants to share her school with her new brother or sister.

Our Families
We have been blessed with families who greatly enjoy each other. We often take vacations with both Dustin and Ginger’s parents. The trips are always filled with laughs, silly behavior, and lots of love. Ginger and Dustin are both the youngest of two and we share four nephews and three nieces. Both of our families are very excited about us adopting again and cannot wait to welcome a new grandchild to the family.

About Our Home
We live in a quiet country home that is far enough away to have peace, open space, and plenty of room to play, but close enough to Austin to enjoy all that a larger city has to offer. We share our home with our two dogs, Emma and Max. We have a very good public school that is at the end of our road as well as local recognized private schools.

Our Promise
We promise to unconditionally love your child and to give him or her the best opportunity that we can to enjoy a happy and healthy life. We promise to raise this child in a loving Christian home where prayer is a daily experience. Through example, we promise to teach open communication about anger, fears, and other emotions that can sometimes be hard to discuss. We promise to be open and honest and to share the story of how we were brought together as a family.
