We are choosing to
adopt a child because:
We are blessed with a wonderful daughter, Kaitlyn.  After trying, unsuccessfully, to have another child, we feel that God has led us to adoption. We are excited and look forward to bringing another child into our family.

The things that make our family special and unique are:
We love spending time together as a family. We enjoy a wide range of activities from traveling, to taking leisure walks - enjoying nature. Because we’ve had the opportunity to live in several states, we enjoy the natural beauty, culture, and history that different cities have to offer - including museums, parks,  local foods and activities. We also find pleasure in simple things like reading, watching good movies, and playing games. Some of our more memorable moments include simply relaxing around the house or on the beach, just enjoying being together.

The things we look forward to sharing with a child are:
We look forward to sharing our complete lives with your child. We will provide a warm loving environment that teaches the Love and Goodness of God.  We will share our network of extended family & friends, who will also love and encourage your child.  We will teach the values of love, respect, honesty, integrity and forgiveness. We will nurture talents and provide resources for education and growth.

We will share lots of hugs, kisses and fun times. On the same token, when life brings challenges our way, we will endure through them together, as a family.

Other members of our family eager to welcome a child are:
Kaitlyn is very eager to have a baby brother or sister. We have a large extended family with lots of children. Gerald has seven siblings and Yolanda has three siblings. Both families are very excited about welcoming another child into the family. We must admit, they are pretty amazing people.  We are both very close to our families and we typically spend major holidays with them. The grandparents are always enthusiastic about having all their children and grandchildren home for the holidays. They look forward to creating new memories with our new child.
