Dear Birthmother,

We are Rhonda and Greg and we want to thank you for considering us. We are the proud parents of an adopted girl, KateLynn. She came to us just over a year ago and we feel like the most blessed people of Earth.

About Us…
We have been married for 15 years. We always knew that one day we would adopt, and when we found out that we couldn’t have our own children we knew that the time had arrived. It seemed like a long wait until we met KateLynn. At that moment, and in the countless moments since, we knew why we had to wait. We were waiting for her.

We are a family that has a strong belief in God. We attend church regularly and are active in the music ministry and youth program as well. KateLynn has lots of friends at church, we even get together during the week and let them play together. We will raise our children to know God personally. We know we are adopted by God and hope to share that gift with another child.

We both have a college education and believe in the value of it. We will be an integral part of our children’s education from kindergarten to high school. We will also encourage them to continue to college if that is what is best for them.

About Rhonda...
Rhonda enjoys playing softball and volleyball. Rhonda is also a big crafter. She enjoys making scrap books, ceramics, and lots of other stuff. Rhonda also has a huge collection of Peanuts memorabilia.

We are blessed to have a great job situation. Rhonda works at home. She is a VP of sales and has a wonderfully flexible job. She comes out of the office to play with KateLynn, go to the park and we eat lunch together every day. She also has her own consulting business where she can pick and choose the jobs as she sees fit.

About Greg...
Greg loves the outdoors. KateLynn and him go on bike rides two to three times a week. Greg also loves to work in his organic garden, go camping and hiking, and his favorite is canoeing.

Greg stays home during the days with Katie while mom is working. A few nights a week he is finishing his masters which will be completed in the fall of 2008. Greg also coaches a volleyball team during the fall and winter. We have a unique arrangement that has been a blessing for all three of us, we spend a lot of time together. As a matter of fact we were both home the day KateLynn took her first step.

Our Families…
We have great families. Most of Greg’s family remains in the north. Greg’s mom is retired and loves to travel. She is able to visit several times a year. Greg’s dad owns a greenhouse and makes stained glass. Along with his two brothers, they all try to make it back to our home town every 4th of July for an annual family reunion.

Rhonda’s parents and one of her brother’s family lives in the same city as us. We spend lots of time together eating, talking, and celebrating special occasions. We were all together for KateLynn’s first birthday and we had a ball.

We live in a great town that sits in the middle of a forest. Our home sits snugly in the middle of hundreds of trees and has a big area for kids to play. We have three bedrooms, three dogs, and a great cul-de-sac to learn how to ride a bike.

We appreciate the opportunity to share a little about our lives with you. We would welcome a little baby into our home...a home already full of love and laughter that could only be made happier by the arrival of a new sister or brother.
