Please let us introduce ourselves...

We are college sweethearts who have been happily married for six years now. It was love at first sight! After being married a couple of years, we began trying to conceive our child and were eventually diagnosed with infertility. After researching our options we are confident that adoption is God's plan for us.

As an active couple, we are rarely found lounging around the house. After work, we are usually outside working in the yard, riding the horses, or at the softball fields. We also love traveling and cannot wait to show our child some of the wonderful places around the world. Our child will be included in everything that we do. Active parenting is important to us and we are looking forward to raising a child in our home.

Our Home...
Is full of love. Our personalities show in our farmhouse and pets. We have horses and dogs on our little farm, and yes, even four laying hens. The house is a two story remodeled farmhouse. After a hard day of work or play, we are able to sit on our back porch and watch the sunset over the wheat fields, listening to nature. Everybody loves to come over and relax.

Our town in eastern Washington has its own school district with a small student-to-teacher ratio. With an attractive park downtown, there are always children playing on the swings or in the pool. This community is a perfect place to raise our child.

Tanya...
is my best friend and loving wife. Every day I look forward to coming home to spend time with her. Tanya is a very giving person and often puts herself second if she can give to or help someone else. Tanya gets very excited for the opportunity to give a child their first horse ride and teach them the importance of treating animals with respect. She has been riding since she was a little girl and is committed to educating adults and children about horses. When she is not in the barn, she is decorating the house. Tanya loves to be busy, whether it is painting or sewing. Her heart shows in her crafts and I appreciate her.

Tanya is a front office manager at a Christian-based primary care doctor's office. Once our baby is home, we are planning on her being home most of the time, and our sister-in-law will watch our baby when needed.

Jake
The first thing people notice about Jake is his smile. His smile is quick and contagious, making me and everyone else he encounters at ease, especially children, who are drawn to Jake. He can make them giggle until their cheeks and bellies hurt! He is happy to welcome family and friends into our home. He is a warm and happy person who loves living. This is why I fell in love with him. I am a lucky woman to be able to have Jake as my best friend and husband. I can talk to him about anything and he listens.

Jake is not only my emotional support, he is very valuable around the house. We have fresh vegetables throughout the growing season because he is meticulous and takes pleasure in providing for family and friends.

Not only does Jake enjoy improving our home, he always is improving himself. He enjoys singing and participates in a men's chorus. He also plays in two city softball leagues.

Our Faith
Our child will grow up knowing Christ and learning the importance of faith in every day life. We have been extremely blessed that He has shown us His plan for our family and our child will be raised with His helping hand. The Lord has given us each other, as well as loving family & friends.

Our Support Group...
Our family is overwhelmed with the excitement of a new bundle of joy. Everyone is supportive of our adoption process and we get together all the time. Our child will play with their cousins & will always be busy.

This child is a priceless gift that will have unconditional love. Our child will pursue their desires and we will facilitate the opportunity to attend higher education.
