Hello! We would like to that this opportunity to thank you for considering us as adoptive parents. We are Johnnie and Jarod, a fun-loving, family-oriented couple. We are excited to expand our family through adoption and promise to love, nurture, and cherish your child for a lifetime.

About Us
We have been a couple for four years and we were good friends for two years prior to that. Our marriage is built on a foundation of love, trust, and open communication. We are both veterans of the US Navy and currently work in the Information Technology field. Jarod is a Network Engineer and Johnnie is an Information Security Specialist.

We share a love of sports, reading, and cooking. We enjoy spending time together as a couple whether we are curling up on the couch to watch a movie, taking a long walk around the neighborhood, or just talking about the events of the day. We have a keen sense of adventure and find great enjoyment in trying new things such as ice fishing and ballroom dancing. We love to barbecue which gives us a great excuse to spend quality time with family and friends.

Our families and friends are very important to us as they are a constant source of support, encouragement, and laughter. After the death of our newborn son (he was premature) it was our family and friends along with our faith that enabled us to come to grips with our loss. Our loved ones mean so much to us and it will be these people along with us who will embrace your child without hesitation and with unconditional love.

Jarod is a wonderful husband and my best friend. He is kind, compassionate, and gentle with a great sense of humor.

I can rely on Jarod to listen when I need to talk, to make me laugh when I am having a bad day, and to offer words of encouragement when needed. Jarod loves the outdoors and some of his hobbies include golfing, fishing, and wood working. Jarod's family is his first priority and he shows that through his actions every day. Jarod has a great rapport with children and will be a fantastic father. Jarod is everything I imagined a husband to be and I consider myself lucky to have him in my life.

About Johnnie by Jarod
Johnnie is a kind, loving, and positive person. She has an infectious personality and can lift my spirits. I enjoy the fact that I can speak with her about anything. Her patience and understanding are qualities I cherish and these qualities shine through when she is interacting with friends and family members’ children. I know she will make an excellent mother as it is her hearts desire.

Johnnie enjoys working outside in the yard, home improvement projects, and trying new cuisines. I thank God for bringing her into my life and look forward to raising a child with her.

About Our Home
We live in a kid-friendly neighborhood near the ocean in Virginia. Our home is spacious with four bedrooms and two and a half baths with a nice sized backyard perfect for running and playing. We are located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac within a few miles of great schools. Our neighborhood is very safe and filled with children of all ages.

Our Promise
We promise to love, nurture, and cherish your child. We will encourage, support, and guide your child as he or she grows and experiences the wonders of the world. We will surround your baby with a loving extended family and a safe environment to fulfill their dreams.
