Thank you for taking time to learn more about us. We are a down-to-earth, playful couple with a solid faith and marriage, excited you are considering us to become the parents for your child. We have a loving and diverse extended family close by, and we are open to adopting a baby of any race. For us, family, education, and having fun are all very important.

About Us
Neither of us was looking for our soul mate when we met at a wedding in 2001. But that’s exactly what we found; we have been together ever since. Even before we married we knew we wanted to share our life and love with a child. Now, due to infertility, we see adoption as God’s way of helping us realize that dream.

Lana is a scientist and Jason is a musician and a pastor, which makes for interesting dinner conversation. Together we share a love of music, movies, bicycling, travel, the outdoors and volunteering. We also enjoy getting together with family and friends over special occasions. We are excited about the opportunity to experience our enthusiasm for life with your child.

Jason About Lana
Lana is an inspiration to me. Her natural curiosity and great work ethic keep me on my toes. Whether planting flowers in the yard, managing our household, or making our church’s landscaping look beautiful, Lana pours her heart and soul into it.

But she knows how to have a good time too! Her effortless ability to connect with people makes her both an easy friend to know and a trusted friend to rely on. She is particularly kind and thoughtful to loved ones at birthdays and when babies are born; she always has a special gift made just for them.

I find strength in Lana’s unwavering love and support of me. And I know she always has our family’s interests in mind. I can’t wait for her to experience life as a mother.

Lana About Jason
Jason is smart, kind, loving and great with children! He is a talented musician and song writer. He also loves to watch football, ride his bike and read. He helps me to not take life too seriously and he genuinely cares about people. We have a lot of fun together cycling, skiing, and just running around. I know I can trust Jason; he will always be there for me no matter what.

Jason is very excited about becoming a father. I know he will be great dad because he has a tremendous amount of love, knowledge and faith to share.

Our Home
We feel blessed to live in a safe and family-oriented community in Washington state. Our neighborhood is full of children—there’s a huge playground and pool just a block away! Our home sits on a third of an acre and has four bedrooms and a bonus room for playing. Our two cats, Weezi and Tanzi, are fun company and make us laugh with their silly antics.

Our Families
Our families appreciate the value of togetherness and are very excited about our adoption plans. We share meals almost every month and are able to enjoy our nieces’ and nephew’s various activities with them. Lana’s dad and stepmom live in Montana, while Jason’s parents live in Ohio. His two younger sisters live in Ohio and Tennessee. Although we live much farther away from each other, we still keep in touch often, especially on birthdays, anniversaries, and special holidays.

Our Faith
Our Christian faith isn’t just about what we believe; it’s a part of who we are as a couple. And it’s always practiced in community with others. We treasure the opportunities we have to be with them as we give back to our community. Our church family is a part of our family as well and is cheering us on as parents-to-be.

Our Promise to You
We promise you we will give your baby unconditional love and devotion. We commit ourselves to providing a home where faith in God builds a solid foundation for the future. We also plan to have a college fund for your child so he or she may go on to discover and develop his or her many gifts.
