Dear Birthmother,
Hi, we are Jason and Wendi. We are thankful that you have given us this opportunity to share a little bit about ourselves. We have been married for 9 years and together for 14 years. We are each the other's best friend and even as we dealt with infertility, we never lost sight of how much we have to be grateful for every day. Through the blessing of adoption we have a son Henry who was born in 2005.
Our lives, home, and families are filled with love, laughter, and happiness. We are so excited to grow our family and welcome a new little one into our lives.
Jason about Wendi
 Wendi is a nurturer and a giver and is a beautifully caring mom. She dotes on
every child that she spends time with and is the greatest aunt in the world.
Wendi is loved deeply by our neighbors, family and friends because she always
acts in their best interest, cares for them in their time of need and thinks of
them before she thinks of herself.
Wendi works just a few miles from home, but only part-time so
she gets lots of time with Henry. She is looking forward to
becoming a stay at home mom with the arrival of our newest addition.
I am blessed to have her as my wife and as Henry's mother. Her laughter and always optimistic outlook are contagious. I love her dearly and look forward to the rest of our lives together as a family.
 Wendi about Jason
Jason is a wonderful man in so many ways. He is the most logical and
intelligent person I know and he is the most amazing father to Henry. He is a
fabulous uncle to his niece and nephews. When you are around Jason you cannot
help but notice he is strong in his faith and his love for his family.
Jason has the greatest sense of humor and he never fails to make people laugh.
He is the "go to" guy for family and friends and never lets you down when you
need him.
Jason is a Corporate Accountant and has been with the same company for 12
years. He has made us so proud by seeking his CPA and MBA, so that he can be the best provider for our family. His office is close to home which allows us to have lots of family time every evening.
Henry
 We are so overwhelmed by the joy that Henry brings to our lives. He has the
sweetest and most contagious laugh. Henry is always on the go whether it is chasing after our cats and dogs, climbing anything and everything, playing in the sprinklers or running around with the other kids in our neighborhood. He loves tools and is always looking to fix something. He loves to make babies laugh and is always patting them on the head when they cry to soothe them. He changes every day and it is an absolute joy to watch him grow. We are in awe of him and we thank God for bringing him and his
birthmother into our lives.
Our Home
We live in a 3-bedroom, 2-bath house in a family oriented subdivision that we
have been in for 9 years. Dallas, Austin, and Houston are all short rides
away. There are so many things to do on the weekends, whether its trips to the zoo, aquarium, fishing or going to see a sporting event.
 Our neighborhood is filled with children of all ages. We live within walking
distance of top-rated elementary and high schools. Our home backs up to a
greenbelt with a park and a walking path that leads directly to a playground.
Our next-door neighbors are our best friends and Henry's Godparents. They have
two children, ages 3, and 6 who just love to visit and play with Henry.
Everyone in our neighborhood is friendly and we love to catch up with each
other when we are all out and about in the neighborhood.
 Our Families
We both come from such great and supportive families. They have been there for
us in every way. They were so thrilled when Henry came into our lives, and
theirs. All of us keep the airlines and highways in business with constant
visits. Every year we take turns taking a vacation with one side of our family. When
we get together we love to play games, watch movies, play golf, go shopping,
play a friendly game of touch football, and play with all the kids.
Our Wish
We promise to give you comfort and peace that your child will grow up in a house filled with love, compassion, laughter, and faith. They will be offered every opportunity to be all they want and can be to fulfill their dreams for happiness. They will be surrounded by family who will love them unconditionally.
 We were there for Henry's birth in February of 2005. It was the most humbling and emotional day of our lives. That is why we are so grateful to have an open relationship with Henry's birthfamily and we are open to whatever type of relationship that makes you most comfortable. Our line of communication will always be open.
