| Our Special Interests |
We both really enjoy gardening as it gives us a chance to put our personal touch on our home and to be outdoors. Well, Jeff does do a LOT of the heavy work for Meg and is often heard saying, "Just show me where to plant it." Yet, we both can't help but smile at the power and beauty of God's hand when springtime warms the ground and coaxes all those seeds you planted to life!
Bible study is a special interest to us and we love to have others into our home to talk about God's word, encourage and learn from one another.
Vacations are a must as we love to travel! We especially love the ocean and our most recent trip was to rent a beach house in Cambria, CA. Our previous trips include Oregon, Utah, South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana. Your child will have such wonderful family vacations with us and we can hardly wait to show them the sights!
Jeff is an avid cyclist and an athlete at it! While he doesn't race anymore he loves to ride his road bike most every day and of course we enjoy watching different bike races together including the famed Tour de France. Our friends are high school coaches and we enjoy attending the games and supporting the teams! We also both enjoy a good NFL football game! Even if Jeff is a loyal Rams fan and Meg a loyal Green Bay Packer fan!
Meg loves to cook and especially to teach young mothers and their children how to cook. She likes to start from scratch creating healthy, yet tasty recipes. A little sewing and quilting has been a fun learning experience and Meg likes to share her creations with her family and friends. Walking or hiking Meg also loves to be outdoors in the fresh air! |
| Our Faith |
Our Christian faith is our foundation in life. We try every day to live as God teaches us in the bible. We feel very blessed having many close friendships with loving and caring families of strong faith, values and virtues, a number who have adopted! We are both very active in our church, attending Sunday worship and weekly Bible studies. Jeff teaches adult and children's bible classes and makes it a fun learning experience for all! He also fills in for our preacher when called upon. Meg loves to teach children's Bible classes, attend ladies Bible studies and visiting with our elderly members. We look forward to raising our child in God's unconditional love, with a strong moral character based upon their Christian faith! |
| Our Musical Interest |
Variety! From jazz, to classical to the oldies and 80's! We especially love to have our friends from church into our home for an uplifting time of singing acapella Christian hymns. We all have such a great time and feel so encouraged and renewed! |
| About Our Home |
We own a newer two-story, California home with a spacious open floor plan including three bedrooms, a sunny loft, three bathrooms and a huge cozy den. Using Jeff's creative home improvement skills, we think we have a home where all feel welcome and loved! Sunlight also floods into the large downstairs living area from our gardens. Our big backyard is surrounded by trees and has lots of room to run and play in! We also have a sweet little terrier dog named Annie who loves children and three finches. |

| Our Neighborhood |
Our neighborhood is designed around a golf course with rolling greens, lovely duck ponds and water fountains that attract a variety of birds. Even though neither of us play golf we love the beauty and amazing views of the surrounding mountains.
We have been blessed with many friendly and hard-working neighbors who are raising young families. Our quiet, safe neighborhood is close to many parks, schools and playgrounds. A quick trip to the beach, snowy mountains or desert is within easy driving distance and so much fun! |
