About Us
We recently celebrated 11 years of marriage, and cannot imagine a life without each other. We both attribute our marriage success to basics: our friendship and ability to communicate, as well as our faith in God and each other. We balance each other's strengths and weaknesses and turn to one another during tough times and when big decisions need to be made... like adoption! Without question, we support each other's decisions and share in each other's sorrows and joys.

About Jerry
Jerry has always said that his biggest reason to adopt is that he has "lots of love to give a child." Well... nothing could be closer to the truth. From the first time he asked me out in college, he has lived up to this promise. He is caring and always thoughtful of others. He was raised in a loving home and counts his strong upbringing and wonderful parents as the reason for the person he has become today.

In addition to working for himself as a lobbyist, he regularly counsels young professionals on their career paths and is active in our church and Sunday school class. He is a real leader and I constantly tell him he will be a wonderful Dad.

About Heather
Heather loves life to the fullest extent and has an optimism and strong belief in the goodness of the world we live in. She is warm and comforting in the toughest of times. She is thoughtful and has shown a strong sense of motherhood in her role as aunt to our two young nephews.

Heather has worked especially hard to make our home warm and inviting. She has built her career in marketing research and is now at a place where home and family are at the center of her life. She clearly views her role as a parent as her next natural step, and one that she is very excited about. Heather will be a great mom!

Our Family
Our home is regularly filled with the laughter and joy of both sides of our loving family. Our parents anxiously await a new arrival! Nothing is more fun than when we all get together for cookouts or to relax at home and enjoy one another.

Our Pets
We enjoy the company of Beauxregard, our young Boston Terrier and Tinker, our cat.

Both are great pets and share our loving home. We have raised them to be loving and respectful to others. In fact, Boston Terriers are best with children; ranking at the top of all dogs!

Our Home
Our home is ready for a special little child. Heather is often told that the sweet smells of our large kitchen and warm coziness of our furnishing is a perfect home to a little baby.

We live in a master planned community in Central Texas and enjoy many amenities, including walking/jogging trails, parks, basketball and tennis courts, and a clubhouse with a large swimming pool (including a separate baby pool). Our neighborhood has lots of children and each attends the local elementary school that is walking distance from our home. Our neighborhood is beautifully placed along a lake, and we enjoy hiking trails and a two-mile nature trail managed by US Fish and Wildlife Department. This is our nephew's absolute favorite place to go when he comes to our home.
