Hi! We are Jerry and Michelle. We are a fun, active, and loving family who love to travel and spend time outdoors. Adoption has already touched our lives through our son Corey; we are excited at the prospect of welcoming another child into our family.

About Us
We met while both working overseas and we hit it off immediately, and married two years later. Adoption is always something that we had thought about, and after many failed infertility treatments we knew that we would grow our family through adoption.

We are a young active family that loves being outdoors, walking the dogs, fishing, grilling out with family and friends, or simply working in the garden. We are adventurous and love to travel, to see other countries and experience other cultures. We lived in Japan for three years and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Michelle was born in Australia and we travel back to visit her family often.

My Husband Jerry
I am so blessed to have met and married Jerry. He is more than a husband, he is my best friend and a man that I admire and respect. I am so lucky to be able to share my life with such a wonderful and loving man.

Jerry is an outdoorsman; enjoying camping, fishing, and hunting. He also loves watching football, going to baseball games, and playing golf. Jerry just completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Jerry is kind, loving, patient, and an involved dad, who enjoys nothing better than a “boys’ day out” fishing, hunting or playing baseball with Corey. Jerry is also a fantastic father to his daughters, Alyssa and Erica, who live in Japan. He maintains a special relationship with both of them.

My Wife Michelle
Michelle is the love of my life. It took me a lot of years to find someone as special as her.

She loves to travel, read novels, visit with friends and family, and the outdoors. Michelle also loves animals and enjoyed riding horses as a child. Michelle is also a very successful Registered Nurse. Michelle loves caring for others and does her best to make a difference in their lives.

Michelle is a very outgoing and loving mother. She loves helping Corey pack his scout equipment for camp or assisting with homework. Michelle takes pride in showing up to every baseball game or other event that Corey in involved in.

Our Family
Family ties are important to us. Corey is Jerry’s nephew and he became our son through adoption two years ago. We are so grateful and blessed that Jerry’s sister entrusted us with this special role.

Corey is an outgoing, fun-loving 14 year old. He has an adventurous spirit and loves to try new things. Corey is actively involved in the Boy Scouts. He loves to be outdoors swimming, fishing, hunting, helping his dad grill, or playing with the dogs. He will make the best big brother!

Jerry’s daughters, Alyssa and Erica are 13 and 10 and they live in Japan with their mother. They are bright, fun, energetic girls. Alyssa loves sports and Erica loves animals and drawing. We maintain a close relationship with them through weekly phone calls and emails. We look forward to when the girls visit us each year.

Our Home
We live in a brand new subdivision in Tennessee, with a small-town feel. We chose this neighborhood because it’s close to great schools. Our home is a new two-story, four bedroom, three bathroom house, set on a half acre lot with a fully fenced back yard. We share our home with two dogs, Zari and Keyla. They are both very friendly, love children and are great companions.
