Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our lives. We are John and DeNise. We have been married for seven years, and we can truly say that we are best friends. Due to infertility, we are hoping to become parents through adoption, and we are so thankful that you are considering an adoption plan for your child. We are very excited and eager to expand our family through adoption.

About Us
We met about 9 years ago while DeNise was completing her studies for her BA and John was a first year Master's degree candidate. Our relationship and marriage is definitely a tapestry of love, understanding, respect and most of all great communication. The decision to adopt came natural to us, because as Youth Ministers in our church, we found it easy to love all children. We've done so much work with children through our ministry, that when we had trouble conceiving, it was like God had already prepared us for this journey.

Our promise to you is that your child will be raised in a home with loving parents who will make sure that they receive the best. Your child will be raised in a nurturing Christian home, with a strong emphasis on family and education.

John's Feelings about DeNise
DeNise is definitely my other half and she has added to my life in so many ways.

She is a wonderful woman who enjoys reading, traveling and spending quality time with both sides of our family. DeNise has a strong commitment to her faith, her family and her friends. DeNise is on the church dance team, and she leads the praise and worship singers. DeNise is also an elementary school teacher and she is loved by all of her students. I've seen her demonstrate so much love for her students.

DeNise's Feelings about John
John is truly my gentle giant and I'm so glad that we found each other.

John's hobbies include reading, swimming, playing games like chess or monopoly and he is a "self-proclaimed" Dominoes expert. Despite all of his hobbies, the thing that John enjoys doing most of all is making me laugh. John is such a funny guy, and he has a way of finding humor in almost every situation, which makes people gravitate toward him. John has recently started playing golf, and although he is no Tiger Woods, he continues to strive to get better.

John is the Vice-President of a multi-location car dealership, and he has earned the respect and appreciation of the entire staff. He is a hardworking man who is dedicated to God, his family, and our future.

Our Family
Our family is a close-knit group of people, although their locations spread clear across the country. When we are together, you would think that we all lived in the same neighborhood. John's mother, sister, and brother-in-law live not to far from us with John's sisters' two children and they can't wait to provide a loving family for your child.

Although DeNise's immediate family is not geographically close, they are a huge part of our lives. DeNise's parents can not wait to become grandparents, again, and they are already looking into coming to North Carolina, so they can spend extended periods of time getting know their grandchildren. DeNise's sister Kim, and her husband have 2 children as well, and they are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their new cousin.

Home is Where The Heart Is...
We live in North Carolina in a four bedroom, two and a half bathroom home with a large front and back yard. Our subdivision is culturally diverse and full of children. Our home is near great schools, parks, hiking trails, and golf courses.

Our Promise to You
We promise to raise your child in a loving Christian environment. We promise that your child will be taught strong moral character, how to strive for their dreams, and most of all, how to be a good and productive member of society. We promise to provide your child with stability, encouragement, structure and with a great education. Lastly, we promise to share how your child came into our lives through the blessing of adoption.
