Hello! We are John and Laura. Thank you for taking the time to have a look inside of our lives and consider us as adoptive parents. We value family first and have a strong Christian faith. We believe that adoption is the path God has called us to. We love being parents and we can’t wait to expand our family!

About Our Lives
We first met in high school and were married seven years later. God has now blessed us with 12 ½ years of marriage and a wonderful nine year old son, Haydon. We love “family movie night” on the couch. The beach is our favorite place to go visit. Whether it is picking up around the house or taking a hike, we love doing it together as a family!

As teachers, we believe education is important for a child to realize his or her dreams and we will encourage your child to reach full potential. We feel through proper education that each child’s unique identity can grow.

About John
John is very kind and cares for all individuals. He is a quiet, strong leader. He is a teacher and a coach, and currently volunteering as the Sunday School Director at our church. John enjoys any outdoor activity, especially hiking and hunting. He and Haydon love to hunt fossils or splash in the creek. He is very active with our son and has coached his soccer team for years. On many occasions, he chooses to stop his projects and play with Haydon. John is an involved husband and great daddy.

About Laura
Since I first spotted Laura, I have known she was a special person. Laura has the kind of smile that makes strangers smile back at her all the time. She is a sweet and engaging person. I am amazed how much people love talking with her. She loves making people happy with her floral arrangements that she does for weddings. Laura loves to read a good book and have a cup of hot tea.

Laura is an awesome mother. I love watching how innovative she is in providing Haydon with the nurture it takes to help him grow up. She loves to bake cookies and take Haydon on impromptu picnics on the trampoline.

Our son, Haydon
Haydon has been a blessing. Haydon is a compassionate, intuitive, fun-loving child. He loves jumping on his trampoline, doing cartwheels, and having sleepovers with his friends. Haydon loves to take good care of his dog, Star. He adores babies and toddlers and has even told his class and teacher about his excitement for a brother or sister. We think Haydon will make a great big brother.

Our Family
We spend a lot of time with our large extended family. Haydon is always playing with his cousins and he has both grandmas and a great grandma five minutes away. Both of our families are close and are always coming up with reasons to get together. Whether it is Sunday lunch, our annual family fall festival we have a great time!

Our Home
We live in a small Texas town, but have the luxury of a large city within a 30-minute drive. Our house sits on four acres of a 250-acre family ranch. Our home is a three bedroom, two bath home with beautiful views of the Texas hills. We are planning one room for the nursery and cannot wait to decorate it for a boy or a girl. We live down a great rural road where we walk the dog and people we know drive by and wave.

Our Faith
We strive every day to grow in our Christian faith and to make decisions through a biblical perspective. We believe sharing our faith will help our children become stronger and more secure as they grow to the person God meant them to be.

Our Hope
Our hope would be to provide your child a loving home with a strong Christian foundation. We will raise your child up in God’s love, patience and kindness and helping him and her to face life and live it to the fullest. Our extended family will also help to support the hope we have for you child’s future.
