We are excited that you are taking a look at our website to get to know a little about us. We can’t wait to share our home, family, and everyday life as parents.
 
We experienced infertility when we tried to start our family however we did not let that stop us from our dream of raising children.  We strongly believe in the word of God, and know that He has chosen a path for us to start our family through adoption.

We have a strong and solid foundation in our marriage and can’t wait to adopt so we can share all we have with your child if you choose us.
 
About Us
We have been married for ten years.  In those ten years our love for each other and our Christian faith has grown very strong. 

About Kufere
Kufere is a very loving, caring, and dedicated husband.  I could not ask for a better partner to share my life with. He will make a wonderful father because of his patience, big heart, and reliability.  He is very outgoing and loves to travel.  Kufere is intelligent and loves politics and discussions about what is going on in government and around the world.  He also likes to read, go running, and play soccer. 

Kufere is a Chief in the U.S. Navy and is an Information Systems Tech.  This new leadership position will allow him to guide new sailors in their career paths and keep them on the right track. He is reliable, dependable and loves a challenge.  Kufere goes out to sea sometimes, but when he comes home, it’s just like he never left.  I’m proud to be his wife and humbled by his honesty and good nature.
 
About Venus
Venus and I met in New York at the same work place.  We started dating a few months afterwards. I knew within a very short time that Venus was the one for me. She is a beautiful, loving and intelligent young woman. I could not wait to ask her to marry me, to go through life’s journeys with me. Venus is the best thing that has happened in my life. She completes me; she is the organizer in my life and gives me a reason to go home every day.

As a wife, I could not have asked for a better partner, she is supportive, she is caring and understanding. Venus is a kindergarten teacher, who loves her students and is very dedicated to making sure that the students have the best start possible. She is patient, loving, and giving.  She has put her career aside to travel the world with me due to my military service and has done so with grace and no regrets and is always there for me. She is my cheerleader!

Education
Education is a big part of our lives.  In addition to Venus’ background in teaching, Kufere’s parents are both teachers. Kufere has almost completed his Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Technology. Venus has a Master’s degree in Elementary Education.

We would definitely make sure that your child has the best education.  Starting with home first, we would be your child’s first teachers and instill our values about education and how important it is.  We would start a college fund to ensure that your child would be able to attend college. We would make sure they know that they can grow up to be anything they wanted to and have the education to back it up.

Our Home
We currently live on base in a huge three bedroom apartment in Japan.  We have a balcony overlooking the playground and a patio off the Master bedroom. One bedroom is a nursery for our child, with closets full of clothes from excited grandparents in the states!

Our Families
Our families are very supportive of our decision to adopt and can’t wait to meet the new addition to the family!  They can’t wait to share stories about how we were growing up and they are looking forward to taking them on trips to Disneyland.
