Hello! We are Lance and Mandy, an active couple very excited to share our lives with children. We deeply respect your decision to consider adoption. We hope this letter will show you how much we long to have a child and give you a sense of the family we are and the kind of parents we hope and love to be.

About Us
As soon as we met we felt an immediate connection, and soon began sharing our dreams for the future. We have been together for over seven years, and our love continues to grow stronger each and every day. We always knew that we wanted to experience life as a family, but we were unable due to infertility issues. We realized that God had a different plan for us to become parents, and we are so excited that His plan is adoption.

As a couple we like to do many things together, like taking our dogs for walks or a ride in the car. We also like to travel, work in our yard, host barbeques, or hang out with family and friends. We also love just doing simple things together, such as reading, watching movies, catching a nap, or just act silly with each other.

About Lance through Mandy's eyes
Lance is my soul mate and forever best friend. Lance is a smart, open, affectionate person who is not afraid to be silly or have fun. Lance is deeply loyal to those he loves, and always willing to lend a hand when needed. He always makes the extra effort with me by making a special dinner or calling me in the middle of the day to tell me "I love you!"

I know that Lance will make a great dad, and has so much to share with our child. He is excited to share his hobbies such as: fishing, camping, watching the NHRA races, riding his four wheeler, exploring nature, and cooking.

About Mandy through Lance's eyes
Mandy is a bright, compassionate, loving person who cares deeply for our family and friends. Mandy is very dedicated to helping others. She is the kind of person you can just talk to about anything and feel complete comfort. What I love the most is when she smiles.

I can't wait to see Mandy as a "mommy." I feel so blessed to have her as my wife, and know that any child would feel blessed to have her as their mother. One of Mandy's favorite things to do is to sing. She also loves to spend time with our nieces and nephews, playing volleyball, shopping, and of course with me.

Our Family and Traditions
Our family is so excited that we are adopting and cannot wait to welcome your child into the family. We both come from large families that live in the same town or within an hour away. The holidays are such a special time for all of us; we are able to get together and spend time talking, playing board games, visiting, and having a great time.

We both have family traditions that we look forward to sharing with our child. Lance's family loves to camp, and always has a family camping trip during the summer. Mandy's mom started a tradition for birthdays, where she would make "Birthday Pancakes" placing candles in the middle and singing Happy Birthday. Mandy's family is also known for their traditional holiday football games.

Our Home & Dogs
Our home is in a quiet, comfortable town in North Dakota. We have a four bedroom, two bath home with a fenced yard that is perfect for a swing set. The nursery is painted yellow, decorated in a bugs and bees theme, ready to welcome a child.

We have two boxer dogs named Briggs and Bailey, each have been with us since they were pups. We know that they will love having a child around the home to play with and to show their love.
