To Our Precious Birthmother,

How do I begin a letter to the woman who will change our family's life forever? I just don't know. I'll try my best to express how blessed we feel and tell you about our life by way of our letter and pictures to you. To begin, my name is Maury and my beloved husband's name is Mark. We have been married for almost 10 wonderful and exciting years and we have one little boy named Mark, Jr. We truly believe each other was a blessing from God and that God has brought us together over 1200 miles. Maybe you are more than 1200 miles from us or maybe you are right here in Florida. We have no idea, but we do know that no matter where you are, God will lead us together to fulfill His purpose. We would be honored if you chose us to be the blessed parents of your child.

Maury's Thoughts on Mark
Mark is incredible! He is so much more than "just" a husband to me. He's my best friend. He's an extraordinary daddy and father figure, too! He always finds the time to give to Little Mark. Mark is also a very sacrificing and family oriented man. But his quality most important is that he is truly a Godly man!

He is the strength in our family's spiritual walk. So, if I need a shoulder to cry on, a voice of encouragement, or my best friend to celebrate something special with, Mark is there for me.

Mark's Thoughts on Maury
Maury is unique in every way. She is a selfless woman always thinking of others and goes out of her way to please everyone!

Her family is her first priority, she stays busy looking after them, but she enjoys every minute of it and never complains. She is a loving wife and is also a blast to have fun with! We always have fun together. I couldn't ask for a sweeter more loving woman to be my wife and mother for our family!

The Third "M," Mark Jr.
Meet Mark Jr., our athletic, yet tenderhearted, seven year old son. Mark is a happy boy who loves having fun and has a kind spirit in which Jesus shines through. He always makes it a point to show others that he cares. Mark is very athletic, a hard worker, and loves to read. Mark is ready to become a caring, protective big brother!

Our Ever Growing Extended Family
Mark is from a very large family. He is number 10 out of 10. Maury is the opposite; she has one half-sister. At the holidays, things can get very busy. Our family has Christmas Eve dinner together and it is held at our home. This past Christmas Eve we had 91 friends and family join us for dinner. Our families are very excited about having another child in our very large family.

Our Home and Neighborhood
Our home is exactly that, it's home! It is a four bedroom, two bath, two-car garage home in sunny Florida. It is built on ½ acre, which has allowed us to have a large backyard. We live 2 blocks from the elementary school that Mark Jr. attends.

Also nearby is a recreation center that is always brimming with activity. But the best thing about our neighborhood is that our family is here. Mark's parent's backyard is directly across the street from us. So anytime our children want to visit Grandpa and Grandma, or even Great-Grandma, they literally go “over the river and through the woods.”

Our Promise to You
In closing, we make this lifelong promise to you. We, as a family, promise to give your baby ever-lasting and unconditional love. She will always be a very special part of our family. We will be there with comfort when she scrapes her knee or needs a shoulder to cry on. We promise to raise her with the love of Jesus in her heart and to fulfill her dreams just as you have fulfilled ours! We will be sure to always let her know that you will always love and never forget her.
