Dear Birthmother,

Thank you so much for taking some time to get to know a little bit about us! We are an active, laid-back, Christian couple who can't wait to share our country lives with a child. We look forward to horseback rides, big family get-togethers, camping and other activities with our child. Lindsey can't wait to be a stay-at-home mom as well.

We have been married five great years! We both knew since meeting that we wanted to raise a family together. We are so excited at the prospect of becoming parents through adoption.

About Us and Our Home
We truly have a blessed life together. We love each other and the life we have built together. We live in a beautiful area in South Dakota. Our home is situated on 10 acres with great views and a lot of room to roam and play. Our home is a three-bedroom, two bath ranch-style that is described by visitors as "very homey." We live here with our dog, Gypsy, three horses, Wheat, Garcia, and Paint, as well as two kittens, Fluffy and Mouser.

We love the serene country atmosphere, and the convenience of living just minutes from a city. Our city has great schools, parks, museums, tourist attractions, shopping, our work, and some of the best health care facilities in the region.

We enjoy riding our horses, helping out on Lindsey's parents' cattle ranch, camping, sightseeing, doing projects around our property, traveling to visit Matt's family, and hanging out with family and friends. One of our favorite activities is spending quality time at home, sweet home.

About Matt through Lindsey's Eyes
Matt is an amazingly social person. He likes meeting people and makes friends very easily. He is a super-kind and thoughtful person. He has tons of energy, which comes in handy when he is playing with his nephews. He can actually wear out a six-year-old! He will certainly be a fun-loving dad!

Matt is a very hard worker, whether it is at home, helping friends and family with projects, or at work. Matt can fix or build pretty much anything. His enthusiasm to help others is boundless. Matt likes to spend his free time playing in his workshop or around our property, hunting, camping, working with our horses, and practicing the harmonica.

About Lindsey through Matt's Eyes
Lindsey is generous, giving, and would do anything for her loved ones. Lindsey likes to spend time working around the yard and garden, redoing old furniture, and experimenting in the kitchen. Lindsey enjoys riding her horses, exercising, decorating our home, collecting antiques, and traveling. She also likes to plan get-togethers for family and friends.

She is creative in so many ways. We get many compliments on how our house looks and on things she has refurbished. She is a fun-loving aunt, sister, and wife, and will be a great mother. Lindsey plans to quit her job at an accounting firm once the baby arrives to be a stay-at-home mom.

As a Couple
We are an active couple and plan to include our child in all that we do. We love being outside and can't wait to go for stroller-walks, to go sledding, to learn how to ride a horse, to play ball, splash in the kiddie pool, and show a child all that life holds to explore. We will raise your child with Christian values that will support them in whatever God has in store for his or her life.

Family is so important to both of us. We have family traditions that we can't wait to share with our child. Summer camping trips with extended family and friends, big holiday gatherings, Easter Sunday egg hunts, are just a few of the traditions we look forward to sharing with your child.
