Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for reading our letter. We are Michael and Amy from Michigan. We've always wanted to adopt and now we feel like it's the perfect time. It has been our desire to have a large family since we were married eleven years ago.

About Us:
We met twelve years ago at church. We each knew we had found the person we would marry after our very first date! We had so much in common and always had such a great time together. After we were married, we did a lot of traveling to many beautiful and exciting countries. We've even traveled on medical mission trips.

We still enjoy travel, but now our focus is home, being parents to our two children. We were blessed with two boys but have been unable to conceive again. We look forward to sharing the world with our children. There is so much to learn and see in other parts of the world, and how exciting that will be to explore it with our children.

My Husband Michael
Michael is such a loving, supportive, encouraging, helpful, and sensitive husband who has a passion for helping others. It's one of the many reasons I love him so much. He believes that God has blessed him and he wants to give back to others.

Michael is a physician, and before I met him, he had taken trips to Christian hospitals in Central and South America performing eye surgery. After we were married, I accompanied him on those trips. I was amazed at how the people would line up and wait for days to have eye surgery. It was incredible to see their faces when the bandages came off and they could see again. I am so thankful to be married to this wonderful man. I love him more than I can express. He has a wonderful sense of humor and keeps our family laughing every day.  

My Wife Amy
Amy is such a warm, loving wife and mother who is dedicated to meeting our family's needs. She decided long ago she wanted to be a stay-at-home mom, and she truly loves our kids unconditionally.

Amy has a lot of interests and is very self-motivated. She's an awesome cook and no one who comes over to our house for dinner has ever left hungry. She also loves to read and has encouraged the boys to like books as well. We have countless books and not a day goes by that we don't read at least a handful of them.

Amy is also a college graduate and feels education is very important. We will encourage and support our children to go to college and to pursue their dreams.

Nathan & Aaron
Nathan is sweet, sensitive, smart, and very social - he loves to meet new people. He looks forward to going to preschool every day, but especially when he's "child of the day" or it's his day for show-and-tell.

Aaron is also sweet, sensitive, and smart but is much more quiet and independent than Nathan. Out of the two boys, Aaron is the funny one. He makes us laugh all the time!

Our Home
We live in a lovely area with an exceptional school district. We are far away from the big city, but close enough to visit anytime for sporting and cultural events. We have a beautiful five-bedroom, four-and-a-half bath home that we are hoping to expand our family into.

Our Faith
We are a Christian family. We go to church every week, pray before every meal, and teach our children that God needs to be at the center of our lives. We feel very blessed in our family life, and we're very thankful for everything that God has given us.

We are so ready for another baby. Our boys are ready to be big brothers. We believe we have so much love to give and so many opportunities to offer your child in fulfilling his or her hopes and dreams. We are open to exchanging letters and photos with you if you would like.
