Dear Birthmother,
Hello! We are Michael and Kelly. We are thankful that God has allowed us this opportunity to share our love with a child through adoption. We love getting together with family and friends and look forward to including your child in the love and fun we have to offer. We’re open to getting to know you and your hopes for your child. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.
About Us
We have been married for five years. We have built a strong marriage and look forward to being parents.
We have always wanted to raise children together. After losing our son, Noah, due to premature birth at 29 weeks, we tried to have another baby but experienced three miscarriages early in pregnancy. Through all this, we held close to each other and still having the desire to raise a family we turned to God for the answer. We feel God has led us to adoption and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be building our family through adoption.
About Kelly
Kelly is probably the most loyal person I know. She has been there for me in so many ways. Kelly has worked very hard to accomplish her dream of being a teacher. She has a degree in education and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Middle School Science and Math. She values each of her students’ educations highly.
Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves to bake, cook, read, and one of her favorite things to do is tutor students. Kelly is also involved with volleyball and swimming at the YMCA. She is very passionate about her job and family. Kelly is my soul mate and I would want nothing more in my life than to raise a family with her and share that love with our own child.
About Michael
Michael has worked very hard to get where he is today. He now has his water and wastewater operator’s license and will be completing his civil engineering degree very soon.
Michael has been a loving and supportive husband. He loves to fish and camp. He enjoys watching movies, cooking, reading, and doing home improvements. Michael’s goal in life is to ensure our children have a wonderful life and have the opportunity to go fishing, camping, ride Atv’s, watch sports on T.V. like he did with his dad growing up. Michael is full of love to share and will make a wonderful dad.
About Our Home and Neighborhood
Our home is in a quiet and small neighborhood in West Virginia. We live on a cul-de-sac so traffic is very minimal on our street. Our neighborhood is full of children of all ages and the neighbors look out for each other.
We have three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a nursery ready and waiting. We have an acre of land with a small stream that runs behind the backyard. We enjoy watching the wildlife visit the stream. Our two Siamese cats, Cy and Snuggles, are very patient and gentle with children. They are great family cats.
Friends and Family
We love being with friends and family. Our family and friends are supportive of and excited about our decision to adopt. Since our families live within 15 minutes from us, their support and love is always close by. Our families are small and close and are always available to help out or be supportive.
We love tradition and as a family we always have a huge dinner for just about every holiday. Birthdays are also important with a special dinner and especially a cake. We have traditions with our friends as well, including at least two trips to the lake for boating and swimming in the summer, or getting together for movies and dinner in the winter. We look forward to sharing our traditions, and starting new traditions, with your child.
Our Faith
Michael grew up in a Methodist church while Kelly grew up in a Baptist church. Blending the two has been tough for us in order to find the “right” church for us. We do realize the importance of religion and want our adoptive child to be involved in a church. We are currently seeking a church.
Our Promise to You
Our promise to you is we will love and cherish your child. We will encourage your child to follow his or her dreams and to enjoy life to the fullest. We will always be there for your child, through whatever life brings.
We thank you for taking the time to review our profile and for getting to know us a little better. We hope you will consider us as an adoption family for your child. Your child will always know how special they are and how special their adoption story is. We are open to sending you letters, photos, and possibly sharing visits with you, if that is what you wish.
