Dear Birthmother,

We both grew up in Texas, in suburbs near each other. We even went to the same college, but we didn't meet until years later. As we grew to know each other, we knew we were going to be together the rest of our lives.

We love to travel, taking many trips throughout the year. We love to take road trips and cruises, trying to do at least one of each every year. Our goal is to make it to all 50 states. Both of us have fond memories of family travel while growing up, and we look forward to continuing that tradition with our family.

We have made the decision for Elizabeth to stay at home and raise our children. We look forward to making our dream of a family come true through adoption.

Elizabeth, From Mike's Heart
Finding Elizabeth is the best thing that has ever happened to me. She is my best friend and is quick with a smile and a kiss. She is great with family and friends and goes out of her way to help them. She is a perfect compliment to me. I look forward to waking up next to Elizabeth every day.

Elizabeth loves to scrapbook and read. She also loves to sit at the marina and watch sailboats go by. She loves to take cruises and is always planning the next one. She loves the water, the ocean and the beach.

Elizabeth used to manage a toy store, was a camp counselor, a life guard and a sailing instructor. Kids are always attracted to her, and she is a natural with them. Elizabeth will be a stay at home mom, and she looks forward to play groups and other fun activities. I know her caring skills will make her a wonderful loving parent. I know she will be an exceptional mommy!

From the moment I met him, I knew who he was. I can't imagine my life without him. It seems we have known each other forever, and I am lucky to have him in my life.

I look forward to seeing him become a father. I know he has a lot of love, patience, and kindness. His comfort level around children is amazing, and his patience as he helps them is wonderful.

Mike loves computers, digital photography, travel, cooking outside and sports cars. He is very active and knowledgeable in all of them, and loves to spend time on his hobbies.

Being an engineer, he asks questions, looks carefully into things, and doesn't make a rash decision. Anything he does is done well. I love that about him and can't wait to grow our family with him.

Our Home, and Precious
We live in a suburb of a major Texas city, halfway between the city and the beach. Our town is a friendly one, with award winning schools, excellent playgrounds, and wonderful public areas.

We live in fairly new one story home that has four bedrooms and two baths. We are decorating the nursery in sailboats, as we both enjoy sailboats and the water. We have a spacious backyard waiting for a swing set and play toys.

There are many infants, toddlers, and children on our street. Each holiday we host cookie decorating parties, inviting everyone to come over and decorate cookies.

We have a cat named Precious. She is very patient and loving, and loves children to pet her. One of her favorite things to do is to sit in the front window and watch the neighborhood children play.

Our Family
We love spending time with our nieces and nephews. Family is very important to us. We are in very close contact with Elizabeth's siblings and parents, as well as Mike's parents. Many holidays and celebrations are spent with family. Each year Mike dresses as Santa and pays a visit to our nieces and nephews. They all eagerly look forward to welcoming our child.

They will grow up with a family filled with love, laughter, and a sense of stability. They will have a large extended family that will share lots of love.
