We share so much love, laughter, and fun together – we are thrilled about becoming first-time parents through adoption

We still have that initial spark from when we first met, as well as a solid relationship built on friendship, trust, and respect for one another. We never wondered if we would be parents, only when and how. We are unable to conceive a child naturally, and we do not feel that our path to parenthood includes medical treatments. Adoption was an easy and clear choice for us, and we are very excited to open our hearts and home to our first child!

About Richele
Every day since meeting Richele, I have grown more deeply in love with her. Richele’s laughter makes me happy inside, and her slightest touch gives me butterflies in my belly. She recently went back to school to explore her interest in the beauty industry, and she is now a licensed skin care therapist and certified make-up artist. Richele appreciates the little things in life, and is always the first to see the positive and find the fun in any situation. She has a natural instinct for knowing what will make those around her happy. I love to watch Richele with our nieces and our friend’s kids, and cannot wait to see her share her sense of wonder and imagination with our own children! Richele will be an amazing mom who will be there each day to nurture and teach our children as they grow.

About Mike
I was instantly attracted to Mike’s fun personality, non-stop sense of humor, and classic charm. Mike continues to sweep me off my feet and still makes my heart melt. He always opens doors for me and reaches out to hold my hand. I have never felt more loved or better cared for than I have since Mike captured my heart. He talks often about taking the kids fishing, teaching them to read, helping them ride their bikes, and building sandcastles with them at the beach. I love to see Mike turn into a human jungle gym when our nieces and nephews are around, and I know he will bring that same excitement and fun into the lives of our children!

Family & Friends
Not only are we looking forward to raising a child, our entire family is just as excited! We make frequent trips around the U.S. to spend time with our families and friends, especially for the holidays. We look forward to sharing family traditions with our children - searching for Easter eggs, dressing up for Halloween, tracing their little hands to make Thanksgiving turkeys, and baking chocolate chip cookies for Santa. We feel that great friends are the family we choose, and we are ‘aunty and uncle’ to several of our friends’ children who are just as eager to meet our first child.

Home & Community
We value education and promise that we will give your child encouragement, and every financial opportunity to follow his or her dreams of success! Mike is an Army Officer and Richele is a homemaker who is excited to be a full time stay-at-home mom for our children. Our two dogs, Lacey and Angus, are playful and great with kids.

As a military couple, we have the opportunity to experience different cultures as we travel to new places, all while keeping the importance of family values, stability, and a strong support system of friends. The families in our housing community are close-knit, and share in the wide range of activities that are offered for kids of all ages. We currently live in a cozy three-bedroom waterfront townhome in Rhode Island. This summer, we are moving to South Carolina where we will enjoy fun coastal living and warmer weather.
