We are excited about becoming parents and raising our family in a Northern California suburb. Children are important to us and we have good experience being around children through our god children, nieces, and nephews. We decided to adopt a child because we have a deep desire to raise a family and are unable to conceive our own child. We want to give our love to a child and we offer a caring and compassionate home. We promise to raise your child with Christian values, love and respect for family, strong morals, and the financial resources to help him or her meet their potential in life.

About Lynn by Nick
Lynn grew up within a loving, caring family, surrounded by children. She had frequent opportunities for babysitting, earning a reputation as a conscientious and caring babysitter. She works as a nursing instructor teaching family-centered care. Lynn is supportive, patient, kind, encouraging, and communicative and I love her for these qualities and many more. She is a wonderful wife and I know she will be a wonderful mother!

Lynn enjoys reading, cooking meals, baking cookies, planting flowers and is learning how to care for the rosebushes in our new home. She always has a stitchery or crocheting project in the works for someone special. For example, Lynn has made prayer shawls for people at church and has already started working on crocheting a blanket for our adopted baby.

Lynn enjoys frequent visits and phone calls with friends and family. Her mother and brother live nearby, so she sees them once a week. In addition, she often calls friends and family across the United States to catch up on the news stories of family life.

About Nick by Lynn
Nick grew up with his parents, three sisters and golden retrievers. His family lives nearby and he visits or talks with them regularly. In addition to his parents and sisters, Nick is a very loving, kind and playful uncle to his five nieces and nephews. Nick works as a manager in a community college library, a job to which he is committed and finds rewarding. Reading books and magazines is a joyful part of Nick's life. He reads fiction, nonfiction, history, biography and travel books. Bookshelves are well used in our home! In his spare time, Nick enjoys exploring historical places anywhere he can find them, as well as visiting museums and hiking in natural open spaces and recreational areas. Nick is dedicated and industrious in maintaining our home. He is very playful, loving, caring and sensitive towards me. I believe in my heart that he will be a truly wonderful and loving father, who will want to share with his child the wonders and possibilities of the world.

Our Family Life Together
We enjoy an active lifestyle with walks in the park, getting together with neighbors and their children, gardening, visiting local museums and historical places, reading, playing music and visiting with our families. We will continue this lifestyle and are fully committed to sharing these pursuits with a child in our lives. We will both be working, yet we have highly qualified child care and development centers on our work sites. Lynn's schedule is flexible to allow for family time.

We are proud to own our three bedroom ranch-style home which is located on a cul-de-sac. We enjoy gardening; planting flowers and other greenery to beautify our front and back yards. We look forward to having our child play with the neighborhood children in our yard and in the surrounding homes on our street.

We value love, respect, and care for one another and take time each day to talk and share our thoughts and relax together. We laugh daily and enjoy life. Some of our traditions include sharing meals together with a set table and candlelight; gathering for birthdays and other special occasions such as family visiting from overseas or from out of state. Another personal tradition is acknowledging our wedding anniversary each month by looking at photo albums and recalling personal and family events since we have been married.
