Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for taking the time to read our letter and for considering us as you search for a loving home for your child.  We are so excited to have this opportunity and have much to share with you.  Bringing another child into our family to love, nurture and parent is our dream!

We met over 15 years ago on a blind date! We were married two years later. During this time we have become the best of friends and have developed a happy, loving, respectful and secure relationship. We feel that a strong marriage is the foundation for building a family.

More than anything we desire to share our lives and love with our children. Because of infertility, adoption has been and remains the answer to our prayers. In 1998 our lives were blessed with the adoption of our son Davis. We have a wonderful open relationship with Davis’ birth family. We hope to see our family continue to grow through the gift of adoption.

About Perry (written by Kelly)
I knew the moment I met Perry that he was the man I would spend the rest of my life with. What captured my heart was his tenderness, integrity, patience, honesty, and his devotion to God, family, and friends.

Perry enjoys fishing, hunting, playing golf, mountain biking, and coaching our son’s sports teams. He enjoys projects around our house and yard and he is always willing to let Davis be his “big” helper.

He is a kind and thoughtful person who is a tremendous father. He takes a very active role with our son Davis. Whether it’s bath time, playing, or even changing a diaper, Perry is always having great fun being a daddy.

Perry has a special perspective on adoption. He was adopted at birth and has experienced first hand the gift of adoption in his life, and with Davis. This is a special bond they share.

About Kelly (written by Perry)
Kelly thoroughly enjoys being a full-time mom and wife. She loves to scrapbook and spend time with her family and friends. True to her southern heritage, Kelly is a genuine southern belle.

Kelly is an incredible mother for our son Davis. We decided before Davis was born that she would become a stay-at-home mom. She is very excited to do the same with our new baby as well. She has that special mother’s intuition that lets her know when Davis is not feeling his best, or even when he’s happy or sad. Just a quick look and she knows exactly what’s going on. She just has a way of knowing exactly what Davis needs and when he needs it. I love Kelly with all my heart and I know that she loves me with all her heart as well. I am proud to have her as my children’s mother.

Meet Davis
Eight years ago we were blessed with the adoption of our son Davis. Davis is a sweet, bright, outgoing eight year old. He loves to play football and baseball. He also enjoys fishing, swimming, Cub Scouts and school.

Davis is VERY excited about having a little brother or sister. He is looking forward to teaching them how to ride a bike and fish. Davis loves playing with other children and will make a wonderful “Big” brother.

Our Home & Community
We live in a wonderful neighborhood in Alabama. Our home is a two-story brick/siding home with four bedrooms and three baths. The nursery is complete and beautifully decorated ready to welcome a little baby boy or girl.

We have a large fenced-in backyard made for children with a swing set, fort, and sandbox. We have one dog named Freckles and she loves it when Davis and his friends play together.
