Dear Birthmother,

We love life, live each day with thankfulness and yearn to spend time with our family. We cherish birthdays and holidays and celebrate them to the fullest. We love camping, the ocean, spending time in Lake Tahoe, and barbequing. We are active, enjoy sports and visiting our families in Los Angeles and Miami. It is our prayer to be parents some day soon through adoption. We have enough love and hugs to give, to last a lifetime.

We have tried having children and are sure that God's plan is for us to adopt. Our hearts are driven by the love of our family and by the love we have dreamed of for starting our own family.

About Us...
We have been together for over sixteen years. Respect and understanding is the gift that keeps us together. We know that God has led us to adoption to start our family. Our desire is to raise a child in a joyful and spirit filled Christian home.

We enjoy music, sports, traveling and prayer. Our family shares all holidays together. At Easter everyone receives an Easter basket and the kids love our big Easter egg hunt. At Halloween we enjoy taking our nieces and nephews out trick or treating.

During the Christmas season we make homemade tamales, decorate our home with a huge tree, and our nieces and nephews look forward to setting up and visiting our Christmas village.

My Wife, Diana...
Diana is my best friend. She is an amazing cook, hostess and enjoys making everyone feel comfortable in our home. She loves reading, tie quilting, scrap booking, dancing and spending time outdoors. She has the greatest laugh in the world and is extremely ticklish. I know that she would be a great mommy. Diana's heart is so soft that she is the queen of baby showers. Our friends love her and I can't wait to raise a family with her and grow old together.

My Husband, Rafael...
The definition of a great man is my dearest friend and loving husband. He grew up knowing that God and family are the foundation to a happy family life. Rafael reads, writes and speaks Spanish fluently. He is thoughtful and has always been there for me. Ralph loves sports and music. He is the warmest person I have ever met. The kids in the family can't wait for "Uncle Ralph" to show up. He would be the world's greatest dad and I pray for the day that I can hear our child call him daddy.

Our Home...
We live in Northern California in a spacious home on 5 acres. Our quiet cul-de-sac has lots of room for playing, and we love hanging out in our backyard. We have prepared our "baby" room and get excited thinking of playtime with our child. We live in one of California's top school districts, and can drive to the city, our vacation home in Lake Tahoe or the river in a short time.

Our Pets...
We have 2 playful miniature goats named "Rocky and Bullwinkle." The highlight for the children in our neighborhood is playing with the goats and "Kimba" our Cocker Spaniel. "Kimba" is sweet, loves kids and thinks he's human. He loves watching TV, car rides, and going to watch our nephews play soccer.

Our Family and Friends...
Our families are very excited, and have expressed their heartfelt support as we adopt our child. We have wonderful friends who have been blessed through adoption and we enjoy camping, visiting the lake and going to ball games with them. We have been blessed with loving parents, support and strong family values.

Our Promise To You...
We promise to love your child unconditionally. Your child is whom we would live the rest of our lives for and would be raised on solid rock. We will support your child emotionally and encourage them to achieve all of their dreams. We promise to provide a solid education and to instill strong family values. Our child will have a love for God, a loving heart towards others, pride, and know that no matter what we will always love him/her.

We wish you the best during this time in your life. We would love to talk to you and answer any questions that you may have for us. We are open to future visits and want to share pictures and letters with you if you desire. Should you choose us as parents for your child we will be ready with open hearts and arms.
