Dear Birthmother,

We feel blessed and excited to be able to share our life and family with you. We are a loving couple with the hopes and dreams of expanding our family through adoption for the second time in our life.

About Us
Melanie and I met through a mutual friend in 1995. We knew from the beginning that we were destined to spend and share our lives together. We are strong believers that an honest and loving relationship is what helps a child grow strong, healthy and full of confidence to take on the world. In 2003 we received the call from Lifetime to say that our first adopted child was on her way. Julissa is now four and is longing to have a brother or sister.

As a family we enjoy swimming, shopping, and going on family trips to Disneyland! Family gatherings are always memory-building experiences.

About My Wife, Melanie
Melanie is a very special and important part of my life. She is my best friend, my wife, a great mother, and all that makes me who I am. Melanie has one of the kindest hearts that I have had the pleasure of sharing my life with. Melanie has exposed me to traveling and spending quiet quality time with family. Melanie is very close to her sisters, brother and mother.

Melanie loves to spend time with family and friends and enjoys doing any sort of arts and crafts, but is particularly found of making beaded jewelry. She enjoys family vacations and holiday family gatherings. Melanie has been working at the same orthodontic office for the last 18 years as an Ortho Tech and Financial Coordinator. Melanie loves the fact that she interacts with children on a daily basis!

About My Husband, Ramon
Ramon is the kind of person everyone wants to be around. He brings so much happiness to everyone he touches. Ramon is the light of my life and nothing makes him happier than to be a dad. Ramon loves children; Ramon will go out of his way for friends and family as well as a stranger in need. Ramon is family- and tradition-oriented.

Ramon attended San Jose State, majoring in Psychology, and graduated from the SJSU Cadet program. He is currently a Production Planner for a large company in the Bay Area.

Ramon loves to design and decorate homes, paint and work in the garden. He also enjoys entertaining friends and family, and traveling.

About Our Daughter Julissa
Julissa is our first adopted child through Lifetime. She is currently four years old, going on five and full of life. Julissa loves to play dress up, sing and dance and work on crafts with mom and dad. Julissa loves working on puzzles and playing learning games. She loves to have her cousins over for movie night and to swim during the summer time.

Our Family
We both grew up in very close loving families. We always enjoy having large family gatherings with Melanie’s three sisters and one brother along with nine nieces and nephews, as well as Ramon’s three sisters and five nieces and nephews. They are all eager for an addition to our family and are very supportive with our decision to grow as a family.

Our Home
Our home is in a small newly developed town in central California. We live in a two story, three bedroom, three bath home which has a large backyard with a custom-built pool and a large lawn area as well. We have child-proofed the yard with baby guard fencing around the play area.

Our home also includes a room designated for a baby, along with an upstairs theater room. We have a formal living and dining area for wonderful holiday family time. We have a family room for our day to day family time and a breakfast nook for daily meals. Our neighborhood is quiet and child friendly. We have a family park about three blocks from our house.

Our Promise to You
If you should find it in your heart to choose us to be your baby’s adoptive family, we promise to give your baby all the love and nurturing that is in our souls. We will give encouragement to do their best in whatever he or she choose to do in life. We will be honest about adoption and about what a gift it was that we were chosen to become parents by you.
