Dear Birthmother,

Hi. We are Rich and Jennifer. Adoption has blessed our family and we have loved being parents to our son, Ryan. We can’t wait to adopt another child and continue to grow our family and share our love. We respect your decision and thank you for taking the time to consider us.

About Us
We love to travel, cheer on our favorite sports teams and go to different cultural events around our city and state. Two of our favorite vacation spots outside of Texas are to the beaches of Maui and to the mountains and lakes of Wyoming.

We are avid sports fans and we love to cheer on our favorite teams such as the Dallas Stars, Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers.

Our family celebrates a number of family traditions throughout the year. One is going to a nearby farm each fall to pick out pumpkins for Halloween. Another one is inviting family over for Easter egg hunts, Fourth-of-July picnics, birthday parties and preparing meals for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. And every Sunday, Rich makes homemade waffles before church.

Our Home and Community
We live in a single family home in North Texas. Our brick home has three bedrooms and two baths, a front yard and a backyard enclosed by a fence. There are many young families with children in our neighborhood. We have several parks near our home and several community pools that we like to swim in during the summer months. The public and private schools in our community are among the best in the state (Jennifer works at one!)

A Little About Jennifer
Jennifer enjoys being in the outdoors. She loves riding bikes with Ryan and planting flowers in the yard. She enjoys practicing tai chi and going with me to concerts and sporting events.

Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies and her Master’s degree in Education Administration. She was an elementary school teacher for several years before becoming an Assistant Principal. She has earned several awards as a teacher and administrator.

Jennifer is always looking out for Ryan’s best interests, and she loves him more than anything. She serves on the PTA board at Ryan’s school and volunteers in his toddler class at church on Sundays. Every trait that I can think of in a mother she showed naturally from the moment we brought Ryan home. He is so blessed to have her as a mother as we are blessed to have him.

A Little About Rich
Rich is a wonderful dad who is both loving and kind. He also has a great sense of humor. Rich received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering.

Rich has a number of hobbies. He enjoys playing golf and reading with Ryan. He is a great domino, chess and pool player and loves competing against family and friends. He enjoys fishing with his dad and can’t wait to take Ryan and his future sibling to one of our lakes nearby to fish. He loves to hike and spend time working in our garden.

Rich is a great dad for Ryan and he will be a great dad for your child too! He can’t wait to be a dad of two.

A Little About Ryan
Ryan is a true blessing to us. He is two years old and has given us so much joy. He attends a Montessori preschool and has already learned his ABC’s and how to count in English, Spanish and Chinese. We believe in teaching diversity to our children and providing educational opportunities as they grow. We feel Ryan will make a great big brother.

We are open to whatever level of contact is comfortable for you and your family. We would be happy to share pictures, letters and even visits with you and your family. We have maintained an open adoption with Ryan’s birthmother and her family.
