Hello from Russell and Jo Ann!

Thank you so much for reading our profile and considering us as parents for your child.  For us, raising a child is a dream come true.  We appreciate your possibly making that dream a reality.

Our Life Together
The past six years of our lives have been the best and worst of times.  We have tried without success to become pregnant.  The struggles we have faced have strengthened our marriage, our faith in God, and our deep desire to add a precious child to our family.  We have a complete, happy life together and would like to offer that to your child.

We have remained the best of friends and are still very much in love.  We enjoy doing all kinds of things together.  On any given day, we can be found taking long walks, watching TV, listening to music, having game night, hanging with friends and cooking out with family. 

We both like traveling. Our vacations have taken us to places like New York, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Mexico, and the Bahamas.  We have traveled to cities both great and small, alone and with friends and family.

Although we enjoy traveling, our home is where our heart is!  We have family living nearby and we enjoy spending time with them.  Jo Ann loves to read, make crafts and cook, and Russell loves to eat so it works out perfectly!

Our Christian faith is a great part of our lives. We belong to a local church that has great programs for children and is a wonderful place to learn about God's love.  There are many children there who will welcome a new friend!

Jo Ann and I are so connected.  That's one of the things that first attracted me to her and still amazes me to this day.  It's nice to have someone who understands and complements you so well.

I know Jo Ann will be a terrific mother.  She is naturally considerate, caring and supportive.  She is always thinking about other people's needs.  She is very encouraging of everything I undertake.

Russell is not just a wonderful husband, he is a good man.  He has a heart of gold and is always doing kind deeds for others.  After all these years, I am still moved by Russell's generosity and heart.

He has such a zest for life and wants to live it to the fullest.  He will be an active part of our child's life and such a wonderful role model because he is a man of values and integrity.

Our Home
We live in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood in Georgia with lots of children of all ages. 

There are always many fun activities happening in the community as well as plenty of parks and green space for a child to play.

Our Family
Family is very important to us and we are blessed to have grown up in loving homes.  Between us we have many brothers and sisters and lots of nieces and nephews living close by.

Our child will have a large family of cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents that love and watch over them.  They will not be the only adopted child as several family members have been adopted including Russell's mother.  Our families are so excited and can't wait to lavish our child with love.

We have strong traditions and look forward to our child sharing in them.  We gather for holidays, birthdays and lots of days in between.  Every summer weekend is an opportunity for a cookout.  We are so fortunate to have such wonderful families and are excited about sharing this blessing with our child.

We promise to provide your child with loads of hugs and kisses, a firm moral foundation, a safe environment and a positive self-esteem.  We will do everything possible to make certain that your child laughs often and feels unconditional love every day!  We will absolutely love and cherish your child forever and share with them how they came into our lives.
