Thank you for taking the time to read this. Adoption has been such a blessing in our lives, and we're thrilled to be experiencing it again. Our home is a joyful one, built on the foundation of unconditional love.

About Us
We met 10 years ago playing co-ed softball through a church league, and quickly fell in love. Together we enjoy lots of activities such as vacationing, visiting family, going to college football games, and hiking with our two dogs at nearby parks.

Now with our daughter in our life, the three of us spend most of our time playing outside, at the local park, or inside with Taylor's many toys and books. Weekends see us at the zoo, the children's science center, an indoor play gym, etc. All-in-all, we're a happy, fun-loving bunch with a lot of love to give.

About Sam
When I first met Sam, I knew immediately that I was hooked! I never knew there could be a man who is so masculine, yet also sensitive and understanding. He has all the traits of a perfect husband and father: funny, kind, outgoing, considerate...and he treats me like gold.

Sam is a computer network engineer for a nation-wide company. He also loves the outdoors, such as fishing and riding his mountain bike, as well as playing his drums, X-Box, and his new Wii. But his absolute favorite now is just being a dad. He has always been 100% involved, and I love the way he spoils Taylor with affection and time. He has made their relationship so strong...I can't wait to see how amazing he will be with a son.

About Lara
I find myself daydreaming at work about coming home and seeing Lara smiling with those beautiful blue eyes I fell in love with. She is such a loving wife. She loves God, is optimistic in every situation, funny, persistent, and loves all children. She has lots of hobbies, including crafts like photography and needle-work, as well as reading, board games, decorating the house and working in the yard.

Lara is also the best mommy because she has the wonderful gift of motherly love and instinct. As a school teacher, she stays on top of the latest studies, which she uses to help our child as well. She'll be playing with Taylor one minute, and then I realize she just gave her a "lesson" too. I never knew learning could be so much fun.

About Taylor
Our three-year-old can melt your heart with just a smile. Taylor is helpful, imaginative, energetic and smart as a whip. She never forgets a thing, and has even begun memorizing bible verses. We say she's in the "theatrical three's," telling stories with the most hysterical expressions! Taylor loves to swim, have tea parties and tend to her baby dolls. She also loves her birth family. Such openness is a real blessing for Taylor, her birthmother and us.

Our Home
Our home is an inviting four bedroom, three bath brick home with a large fenced-in back yard. And our neighborhood reminds us of some of our fondest memories growing up, such as children riding their bikes along the street, parents pushing strollers, groups of adults gathering in their yards to chit-chat, the smell of B-B-Q grilling, and the sound of the ice cream truck.

Our Faith & Family
We are committed Christians with Lara teaching a pre-school class every Sunday...and Sam is a deacon, also playing drums for children's church. We both stay involved in local and global mission work, too. Our church friends are like family, and our relatives are just as wonderful. Both of our parents have been married for over 35 years. Sam's live about one and a half hours from us and we see each other frequently. Lara's parents live in Orlando, FL and can't wait to take the grandkids to Disney World. Including our brothers & sisters-in-law, we have over 90 cousins, ready and waiting to love the new baby.
