Dear Birthmother,
Hi! We are Scott and Nicole. Thank you for reading our profile. Our prayers are with you.
Our family is built upon our relationship with Christ. We can offer your child a strong faith, unconditional love, and a couple of siblings that would embrace him or her with open arms.
About Us
We have been married for over six years. Activities we enjoy doing together include church, boating, sports, traveling, and spending time with our friends and family.
We have been blessed with two children. Due to complications in each of our children's pregnancies, we decided to continue expanding our family through adoption. We have also felt led by God to do so.
We attend a non-denominational church and serve in various ways. Scott enjoys working with the technology team while Nicole helps in the children's ministry. We also attend a weekly Bible study.
About Scott
What attracted me to Scott was his love for the Lord. He loves his family and works extremely hard at making sure we are happy. He has his Masters degree in Software Engineering which allows him to occasionally work from home.
As a husband, Scott is extremely supportive in my interests and goals in life. Scott appreciates me, helps around the house, and reads devotions to our family.
As a father, his love overflows when he is with his children. Our kids' faces light up when around him. Scott loves to attend Jordan's soccer games and watch as Haley dances on stage.
In Scott's spare time, he enjoys playing a variety of instruments, hiking, traveling, and has an interest in airplanes. He has also been teaching piano to our children.
About Nicole
Nicole has an amazing compassion for others. She finds great joy in working with the disabled and teaching children. She has a degree in speech pathology and has 10 years of experience in the speech therapy and child development fields. Currently, she is at home full time preparing for the adoption.
As a wife, Nicole is very supportive in my endeavors and brings balance to our relationship as she continually encourages and challenges me.
As a mom, Nicole is conscientious about ensuring her children are in a safe, loving and fun environment. She encourages them to explore their world and try new things.
In her spare time, she enjoys scrap-booking, traveling, animals, camping, boating and sports.
Our Family
Our son, Jordan is 5 years old and attends a Christian school for kindergarten. He has a love for music, plays soccer, attends AWANA, and loves super heroes. He loves his sister dearly and is excited to add to the family.
Haley is 2 1/2 years old and has a love for animals, baby dolls, princesses, and attends dance class. She loves her brother and would be a great big sister to our third child.
We also have a loving dog and cat that love to cuddle beside us.
The kids' grandparents live about 3 hours away and are supportive of our adoption plans. We get together with both sides of the family during holidays, special occasions, and as often as possible.
Our Home and Community
We live in a ranch style home located on a little over an acre of land. There are 4 bedrooms, and a very spacious recreation room for the kids to use as a playroom. Our yard has a playground area with a play set, an enclosed trampoline, and a miniature pool. It's not unusual for us to see deer and wild turkey in our yard. We live in a culturally diverse, rural neighborhood, close enough to several community parks and pools.
Closing Thoughts
In the same way Christ has adopted us into His family, we hope to adopt a special child into our family. If you choose us to adopt your child, we will see him or her as yours, ours, and God's. A child that will be loved by ALL! As parents, we want to provide a loving, stable environment for our children. We will love unconditionally and plan on being very open to our child about their adoption as early as possible. Our prayer is for your child to feel confident and secure about who he or she is as a part of our family and at the same time feel the love experienced by you and God.
