The pitter-patter of little hands and feet leave their mark, showing a home full of laughter, and love. This is the home we will provide for our family.

We are Scott and Vickie. Thank you for taking the time to let us give you a glimpse into our lives. We are excited to open our hearts and home to build a family through adoption.

About Us
We are a Christian couple who have been married for 12 years. We love children and our lives revolve around our family and friends. We love the outdoors, sports, the mountains and the beach.

There seems to be no reasons for our infertility. We wanted to have a family so we opened our home to foster children. After having children for a year, they went home. We knew we wanted a more permanent plan for building a family.

We adopted our son Hunter through Lifetime in 2004. We also became guardians for a former foster boy named Michael in 2006. Both boys are such a blessing to us. We want our children to share the bonds we have had with our siblings so we would like to adopt again.

What We Value
"Faith, Family and Friends" sums up what we value in life. We are active in our church, which has great programs for children. We will raise our children to have strong Christian values. We value our families. We want our children to know their grandparents, aunts and uncles. We are committed to being home with our children. We feel the first years of life are important to instill values and establish a strong bond of trust and love. Friends are also important to us and we want our children to experience lifelong friendships.

Vickie About Scott
Scott is a very loving, generous person. He is a man of integrity. He is strong in will and heart yet he is gentle and humble. I thank God for blessing me with such a wonderful husband.

Scott grew up in a family with adopted and foster children. He has 5 siblings. Scott loves to be in the outdoors hiking, fishing, golfing and working in the yard. He loves to play with the boys.

Scott owns a detailing business and has a flexible schedule to be able to be with us. He is involved in the activities of the boys. Together they fish, ride the four-wheeler and enjoy the quiet times talking and reading.

Scott About Vickie
I was first attracted to Vickie because of her beauty. As I got to know her, I quickly was attracted to her in so many other ways. She is energetic and enjoys life.

Vickie has a doctorate in Education and was a professor at a college before deciding to be a stay at home mom. She is loves our family and devotes her time to making sure Hunter and Michael are loved and nurtured. She looks for ways to build family traditions and create memories. She plans special date times with the boys.

She grew up in a blended family with five siblings. She has experienced adoption firsthand and there is a strong bond of love between her and her stepfather who adopted her.

About Hunter
We were blessed to be at the birth of our son Hunter. He is an energetic boy. He enjoys playing in the yard and going for walks. He loves to ride the tractor with Scott. We love to read to Hunter, play puzzles, and cars and enjoy watching him discover new things.

About Michael
Michael is an active 10 year old boy. He loves all sports but especially football.

He enjoys music and watching movies. Michael likes riding his four wheeler, fishing and catching frogs in the pond.

About Our Home
We have a great home to raise a family. We have 6 acres of woods, and fields to explore. We have a big barn with a fort, slides and a sandbox.

We live in a wooded area but we are close to town. We have parks and malls nearby. We are in a safe secure area.
