Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We have been happily married for about 11 years and have known each other for over 16 years. Due to infertility, we have not been able to have children on our own. We believe God has led us to adoption and we are very excited to become parents again. About Sean by Melissa:
Sean is the most caring, helpful and understanding man I know. He truly is my best friend and is a fantastic father to our son Dallas. He is always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Sean is a big kid at heart and loves being around kids.

Sports are a big part of Sean's life; he is the sports editor for our local newspaper. There is never a shortage of games that we can attend. Sean enjoys playing basketball, tennis, golf, bike riding and watching all other sports. His newest hobby is photography.

About Melissa from Sean:
Melissa is a natural mother. When we first met she was “nannying” three children during the day for a family in town. Her “mommy” instincts just come natural.

Melissa is my best friend; I couldn’t imagine my life without her. She’s loving, helpful, caring and compassionate. Children just naturally are attracted to her.

Melissa is a people-person, she loves to sit around and talk with her friends while they scrapbook, one of her favorite activities. She enjoys bike riding, golfing, and most any active sport. I love watching her spend time with Dallas. She is a loving and caring “mommy”.

About Dallas:
Dallas is a happy, loving and full of energy little boy, whom we adopted at birth. He has brought more joy to our lives than we ever thought possible.

Dallas loves going places and loves to play with other children. He also enjoys our cats. We cannot wait until Dallas has a brother or sister to play with.

About Us:
We enjoy many athletic events as a couple and cannot wait to share our passion for these sporting events together as a family. We enjoy having friends over for dinner and board games. We also like to travel and visit friends and family all over the country. Together we have a strong Christian family and believe that God is the center of everything. We are able to attend church every Sunday and Wednesday evening and are involved in helping with the children’s ministry program.

Our families couldn’t be more excited for us to adopt another baby. There are now three grandchildren in Sean’s immediate family and Melissa’s family is waiting patiently for their second grandchild. Both sets of parents live in the same town as us.

Our Home:
We live in a city with a population of 14,000. Our home is a newer, spacious ranch style home with 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Our yard is fenced and the swing set is ready for our new sweet addition to run and play around.

We look forward to raising a child in our small town atmosphere, which is very child friendly. We plan to send our son or daughter to the local Christian School , for children ages kindergarten through 12 grade.

Both of us work full time and will likely continue to do so. Sean has flexible hours which allow him time off during the day, limiting the need for daycare.

We live close to a community park with an outdoor swimming pool where the kids can swim and interact with the other neighborhood kids.

We have decorated the baby’s nursery, using the “Baby Looney Tune” theme, which will be great for either a baby boy or a baby girl.

We have two kid friendly cats, Oreo who is 11 years old and Double-stuff who is 10 years old. They each take their turns snuggling on our laps.
