Dear Birthmother,

We are extremely excited to become parents for the first time through adoption. We are truly honored that you have taken the time to learn more about us.

About Us:
We met 15 years ago through a mutual friend in college and have been married eight years. Our marriage has a wonderfully strong, loving and nurturing foundation.

Due to pregnancy related health concerns for Que, we have chosen to expand our family through adoption. We believe that everything happens for a reason and that God has chosen for us to take this path towards parenthood. We can’t begin to explain how excited we are about welcoming a little one into our family!

We consider ourselves an active couple that love spending time together traveling, taking road trips and sight-seeing. We particularly enjoy taking cruises to different countries and learning new cultures. We truly enjoy each other’s company and some of our most enjoyable times are simply spending quiet evenings together watching TV or over dinner at a favorite restaurant.

We have lasting memories from our adventures and can’t wait to share these same experiences with your child. We are both college graduates and find education to be very important. We plan to make education a priority in your child’s life just as it has been in our own lives.

About Sean by Que:
My husband is my main and most trusted support system. He keeps me balanced and is always making sure that the needs of our family are met. He is patient and calm-natured, funny, extremely kind-hearted and selfless. He goes above and beyond to help anyone and always considers the needs and comfort of others well before his own.

Sean enjoys playing basketball, running, golfing and bowling in his spare time and also coaches youth basketball. He takes pride in helping them become more disciplined and well-rounded team players.

Sean has a successful career as a police sergeant and has a flexible work schedule that will allow him to be home often and spend quality time nurturing and bonding with our child. Without a doubt, he will make a wonderful father.

About Que by Sean:
Que is a very sensitive and nurturing person. She is tender-hearted and empathizes with the thoughts and feelings of others. This makes her a great listener, support system and friend.

As a child therapist, she takes pride in helping children recognize their true potential while overcoming life’s obstacles. She is wonderful with children of all ages and will display that same warmth and understanding as a mother.

In her spare time, Que enjoys painting and drawing. She is a creative and talented artist and much of her artwork is proudly displayed in our home. Que’s current project is the nursery. She has already begun decorating the room in anticipation of the arrival of our first child.

Our Home & Community:
We live in a two-story home located on a child-friendly cul-de-sac in a suburban area of Northern California. One of our bedrooms has been designated as the "baby's room" since we moved into our home five years ago. It has a large walk-in closet and overlooks the backyard which has a lot of space to play and an in-ground swimming pool to enjoy during the warmer months.

There are children of different ages in our neighborhood that enjoy playing and riding their bikes in the safety of our cul-de-sac. We live within walking distance of an elementary school and neighborhood parks. We also share our home with our three year-old cocker spaniel named Natalie.

Our Family:
We value the closeness of family and the commitment of marriage. We were both raised in two-parent households and our parents remained married to this day. We are very close to our respective families and have a host of extended family, wonderful friends and God children that are a part of our close family circle as well.

In Closing:
We already have a special place in our hearts for your child. Your child will receive enormous amounts of love and affection from the both of us and we plan to give your child the same loving, stable and nurturing upbringing that we both experienced as children growing up in our own families. We plan to share your child’s adoption story with them as soon as they can understand and you will always be an important person in your child’s story. We hope you take comfort in knowing that if you choose us as parents we will unconditionally love and greatly care for your child.
