We are Shane and Jennifer and we are an energetic, Christian couple who view family as our first priority. We hope that the information we share will give you a peace in knowing your child will have a lifetime of unconditional love, support, security, opportunities, and wonderful memories.

About Us:
We are an active caring couple who have committed to each other in a loving marriage and are ready to welcome a baby into our lives. Our journey together began 18 years ago when we met in elementary school. We were always a part of each others' lives and seven years ago we fell in love and started our life's journey together. We have been waiting on the joy of adding a child to our family for the last two years. We are a young couple who enjoy traveling, the outdoors, animals, sports, music, and much more.

About Shane:
Shane is my best friend. He has the most wonderful sense of humor and can bring a smile to anyone's face. He has so many qualities but above all it is his devotion to God and his family that stands out. He will be an amazing, committed father.

Shane has a large family. He was adopted when he was 9 years old by his grandparents. His experience as an adopted child was a blessed and happy one. Shane's love of the outdoors and sports are balanced by his joy in family activities. We spend every Sunday afternoon at his grandparents' house for dinner. There are usually 30 or more people and there are always games being played. Shane loves to play golf, read, fish, hunt, and spend time with family. He is honest, open, caring, non-judgmental, compassionate, loving and so much more.

About Jennifer:
Jen is my best friend the love of my life. She is loving and compassionate. She can find joy in any situation. There is a deep tenderness in her and a hope that rises above all. Jen is the person I seek for comfort and the person who inspires joy. I am honored to have her as my wife.

Jen is a college graduate and now teaches at a local high school. Anytime we go out every kid we see comes to say "hi!" to Mrs. Jennifer. In her spare time she loves to paint, sew, sculpt and try out various kids of art projects. She is a talented artist. She is an amateur photographer and she loves taking photos of people, and of nature. As a side job she is a professional videographer. I also love when she sits out on the front porch and plays her guitar.

Our Home, Community and Family:
We live in a quiet community in the southeast United States. We are less than 15 minutes away from both of our families, schools, family doctor, shopping, and a state park. Our home is a two story fully remodeled 3 bedroom farmhouse. There is lots of room outside for hikes in the mountains, a nearby creek for fishing and relaxing, and lots of play areas for a child.

We have a Beagle named Daisy Belle and a cat named Lucy who are wonderful with the other children in our family. We also keep horses; Patches, Coco, and a new colt named Lacy at Nanny Jean's barn and field, only a half mile from our house.

Holidays are our favorite times for family and faith. We were both raised in Christian homes and we are currently members at a local church in our community. Family values and honesty are very important to us. We believe that everyone should be respected and that we are all equals. We will strive to lead by example by teaching a child right from wrong and hope to instill the same Christian values that were taught to us.
