Dear Birthmother,

After briefly dealing with infertility treatments, we realized that God had a different plan for us - building our family through adoption. We are blessed to adopt our son, Jalen, and had a beautiful experience with his birth mother.

Our greatest joy comes from parenting and we can't wait to become parents of two; we can provide a loving, secure, happy childhood and upbringing. We promise to you that we will protect, love, cherish, support, nurture, and guide your child. Family is a priority in our lives, and your child will always have a "soft place to land" in our home and hearts.

About Us as a Couple:
We are committed to each other, our marriage, and to raising our children. We are a team that embraces life and all that it has to offer. Each day is a blessing and we always make sure that we cherish even the smallest moments.

Together, we enjoy cooking, dancing, traveling, going to the movies, baseball games, picnicking, attending family events, attending group events with other parents, and just staying at home. We laugh a lot and just enjoy being together, no matter where that is. We love being parents and look forward to adding to our family through a second adoption.

Thomas talks about LeeAnn
LeeAnn was a career Executive Assistant, until she chose to stay at home with her son, Jalen, and be a full-time homemaker.

LeeAnn radiates beauty from the inside out. She is such a sweet, loving, and giving person, who is very sensitive to those around her. She is very family oriented and would never miss a family member's birthday, anniversary or special event. She is a fun, loving, devoted mother who enjoys spending time with our son doing various activities: swimming, gymnastics, music, going to parks, feeding the ducks at our local pond, attending play groups, attending Mom groups, and lots more! I have no doubt that she will extend that same love and dedication to our next child.

LeeAnn talks about Thomas
Thomas served in the Air Force for five and a half years and is currently employed as a senior engineering manager with an aerospace manufacturer and advanced technology company. He has been employed with this same company for over 16 years.

Thomas is a very kind, gentle, supportive, compassionate human being. He has a very warm smile, endearing personality and the ability to make anyone feel like the most important person in the room. He is a devoted, loving man that continues to impress me every day with his sincere, generous, and humbling heart.

Thomas is an amazing father, and it is with great anticipation that he waits for another child. There is no doubt that he will be equally devoted to another son and/or daughter.

Our Son, Jalen
Jalen is an outgoing, smart, confident, loving little boy, who is looking forward to being a big brother! He is extremely curious about the world around him, with particular interests in cars, trucks, basketball, music, dancing, and gymnastics. Some of his favorite activities include going to the park, feeding the ducks at the pond, looking at fish, playing the drums, running around outside, riding his bike, and having his favorite books read to him.

Values and Beliefs:
We have formed a foundation based on Christian tradition. We are attending a local church and look forward to continuing participation in our various church and community activities. We are a family filled with love for family, respect for others, and kindness. We will raise your child in an atmosphere of love, support, encouragement and acceptance. We value education and will encourage and inspire your child to reach their fullest potential.

Our Home:
Our home is in a private, residential gated community in New Mexico. We have a large backyard to run around in, ride bikes, play ball, and barbecue. We have an in-ground swimming pool that is completely fenced in and locked, and an outdoor play set. Our home has four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms.

Closing:
Our wish is for you to have peace of mind in your decision. If you entrust your child to us, we want to assure you that this child will know about how our family was built through adoption. We are open to sharing letters, photos and possible visits, if you wish.
