About Us
We have been married for almost two years. We met at church and became good friends first. Once we realized we'd found our soul mate we were married soon after!

It was challenging trying to start a family, and after several months of fertility treatments, we decided that we would move forward in our plans to adopt. Adoption was an easy choice for both of us. Even before we got married, we had already decided that we would have biological children as well as adopt. We believe that God is preparing a special child for us to add to our family.

About D'Etta (Dee)
Dee is the most organized person I know. She is a wonderful partner - full of life and always ready for new challenges. She loves to express her creativity through home decorating, ministry work and planning social events. She has a big heart.

Dee is dependable, energetic, and compassionate. My wife is cheerful, she loves to laugh, and is very intuitive. She will be a fantastic mother. Her great organizational skills will be very helpful in keeping our family running like a well-oiled machine.

About Timothy (Tim)
Timothy is not only a wonderful husband, but a great person. Anyone who knows Timothy will tell you how sincere, humble and genuine he is. He has a strong love for children of all ages. One of the things that impressed me most about Timothy is his patience. As Christian people say, "He has the patience of Job."

Tim is also the pastor of a church we started. He is full of energy, and loves sports, so he can't wait to have a child to play with. Our friends that have children will tell you that children somehow get very attached to Tim. He has a great sense of humor and a kind heart.

Our Faith
We have very strong Christian values. Our relationship with God is an extremely important part of our lives. We plan to share our Christian values with our children.

Our Family & Friends
We are both very close to our families and friends and enjoy spending time with them during the weekends and holidays. We have three full sets of grandparents (Dee's parents both remarried). Dee's parents live nearby and see us often. Tim's parents live in Mississippi, so visits aren't as frequent. However, we do talk on the phone weekly.

Our Home
We own a comfortable four bedroom home in a friendly neighborhood. Our community is filled with children of all ages playing ball, riding bikes, and swimming. Families regularly stroll by and will gather with their children to attend neighborhood events.

Our Pet
We have a male Shih Tzu named "Serenity." We call him "Renny" most of the time. He is a true joy for us. Of course, he is very spoiled, but would welcome a child into our family easily. Renny has spent time around children in the past and he does very well.

In Closing
We've been told that being a parent is both the most rewarding and challenging experience ever. We are ready! Our greatest strength as a couple is our ability to slow down, open up and listen to each other from an honest and loving point of view.

We truly believe that a child would have a happy and fulfilling life with us. We can hardly wait to become parents and feel that open adoption is a beautiful way to build a family.
