Adoptive parents, Troy and Stacy

Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for taking the time to read about us. We are Troy and Stacy, a couple in our thirties from California looking to add to our family. We look forward to sharing our lives with a child and growing together as a family.

Troy, Stacy and their son Dylan on HalloweenAbout Our Life
We have been married for nine years and after trying to have children for some time, we decided to welcome a child into our hearts through adoption. We both have solid careers working for the government. When we are graced with another child, Troy will take three months off from work and Stacy will be taking a one year leave of absence. After that she will work part-time.

Our idea of a good time is to have family and friends over for a barbeque and play board games, watch a movie or just hang out. We love to entertain and have a close group of friends. We love traveling and camping. We have an active life with friends, family and projects, but most importantly we enjoy quiet peaceful moments with each other.

Troy is passionate about musicAbout Troy
My husband Troy is the most compassionate, sensitive, loving person I have ever met. I have often said that I am lucky to have such a wonderful husband, who loves me unconditionally. He has a smile and a giggle that melts your heart. He is excellent at doing projects around the house. Troy loves to entertain and makes a "mean" barbeque. He is passionate about music and loves to play guitar. When he is outside in the yard, I will watch him play football or basketball with our son and all the neighborhood children.

Stacy working in the gardenAbout Stacy
Stacy likes to work in the garden, decorate the house and involve herself in household projects. She is a creative person with energy and a passion for trying new things. She can light up a room with her personality, charm and humor.

Stacy was raised in a Christian household by her parents who instilled moral values in their daughter. She cares deeply about family and it's evident in her relationships with her nieces, nephews and son. She's my foundation and a voice of common sense in our household.

Dylan will be a great big brotherAbout Our Son Dylan
Three years ago, we adopted our son Dylan. We were fortunate enough to meet his birthmother and spend time getting to know each other prior to Dylan's arrival. We were invited to attend his delivery and all three of us shared this memorable time together. We send pictures throughout the year to each other documenting Dylan's growth. Dylan's birthmother holds a special place in our hearts and always will.

Dylan is a rambunctious three-year-old who loves SpongeBob Squarepants, Power Rangers and Spaghetti O's. He's a loving boy who is articulate and not afraid to express himself to anyone. We enjoy spending time at the playground or riding bikes together. Dylan will be a great big brother because he loves giving hugs and kisses.

Home in CaliforniaOur Home
We have a big two-story home with four bedrooms and three bathrooms that is ready to share. Our nursery is fully stocked. We live in a beautiful neighborhood in California where kids are always outside playing and the parents and neighbors all get together for holidays and special events. Our street even has quite a reputation for the magnificent Christmas light displays every year. The elementary school is one block away from our house and the schools in town are excellent. We love animals and have one cat, KC.

Our Family
Both of us cherish family and we're very close to our immediate families and extended family. We both come from large families and they are a wonderful support group. We take comfort knowing that they will have nothing but love and guidance to offer our child. We truly believe that the child God chooses for us will be blessed with a large, loving and fun family. They are just as excited as we are to welcome your child with open arms and unconditional love.
