Kristine Mason
Adoption Coordinator
Kristine's involvement with Lifetime as
an adoption coordinator is an opportunity for her to use
her communicative skills, and her ability to organize an adoption
plan using Lifetime's proven methods. In her years with Lifetime, she has worked hand-in-hand with adoptive families and birthmothers, finding common ground and opportunities to encourage each person she has come in contact with. She is truly one-of-a-kind!
Kristine's energies are now focused on helping Lifetime's nationwide birthmother outreach program, as well as assisting families in the beginning stages of their adoption journey. She enjoys sharing Lifetime's mission with families and professionals alike who are not familiar with adoption or the incredible opportunities that Lifetime provides to our birthmothers and adoptive families. Her experience in working day-to-day with birthmothers give her a unique perspective as she helps to share Lifetime with others.
The title that Kristine wears most proudly is that of "Mom". Like many of the people she talks to, parenthood has brought her incredible joys and sorrows. Seven weeks after the birth of her youngest son, Kristine and her family were informed by two Marines that her oldest son John was killed in action in Iraq. “Words cannot describe the pain of never being able to hear, physically see, or hug my son, but we all have many, many fond memories of the American hero he always was growing up and will forever be now in his death,“ she says. "With the loss of my son, I am encouraged in knowing he had Jesus in his heart and will forever be guarding the gates of Heaven for each of us now."
