Your Adoption Questions Answered
Birth mothers have many questions about adoption. Some of those include:
- How does the adoption process work?
- How do I choose adoptive parents?
- How much will I see my baby after the adoption?
Lifetime Adoption will answer all of these questions for you and more. Call us at 530-222-3330 or send us an email. Your questions are confidential. You are under no obligation to pursue adoption once you call. Furthermore, our coordinators will never pressure you into making a decision that isn’t the best one for you and your baby.
Adoption is also an option for you if your child has already been born. Though most of our adoptees are newborns, there are many adoptive parents who are eager to adopt toddlers and siblings. As with newborn adoptions, we will help you to customize the adoption of a child that has already been born so that you may have the relationship you desire.
An Open Adoption for All
Lifetime Adoption embraces the ideals of an open adoption. This type of adoption allows the child to interact with his or her birth parents, which has proven to be a better psychological choice for adoptees. It is also a much gentler transition for birth mothers who are able to receive information or even have face-to-face meetings with the child and adoptive parents.
All adoptions are customized to the needs of those involved. One birth mother may be more comfortable with limited social media contact. Another may wish to have regular visits with the child. We will work with you and the adoptive parents to ensure that all are comfortable and accepting of the adoption terms.
